About This Pub
Ah, Camp Inn in Birmingham – it's one of those pubs that just has that warm, unpretentious charm you don't find everywhere these days. I love how the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome; they're helpful and create such a relaxed atmosphere that it's easy to settle in for a chat or even a bit of fun with the DJ spinning tunes. It's open seven days a week from noon until 11, which is brilliant for popping in after a walk or meeting up with friends without much fuss. On the downside, the beer options are a bit on the basic side – mostly your everyday lagers without much variety, so if you're someone who likes to explore different brews, you might find it a tad underwhelming. Still, with its moderate prices and that genuine, homely vibe, it's a solid spot for a laid-back evening, and I'd say it's worth giving it a go if you're nearby, as long as you keep your expectations in check for the drinks menu.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
-
It's a cosy, relaxing spot with a great atmosphere, perfect for a quick drink or enjoying a fun night with music like the DJ.
-
The pub has a welcoming vibe for groups, whether it's a casual catch-up or something more lively, and it's open every day from midday till 11 PM.
Cons
-
The beer selection is quite limited, mostly sticking to standard lagers with no options like IPAs or pale ales, which might disappoint if you're after variety.
-
As a small pub, it can feel a bit snug, and if it gets busy, you might wish for more space to spread out.

Really nice staff in here and relaxing atmosphere.
A pleasure to have quick pint, helpful and friendly staff
The vibe was pretty nice , small cosy pub with excellent staff. But the beer range was poor - no IPA / Pale Ale offering everything was just your standard lager. Quite measly options tbh
Great bar staff, made our school reunion group feel really welcome on Saturday just gone. DJ made the night even more fun. Will definitely be coming back!
