About This Pub
Ah, the Bull Highgate – it's one of those places that just feels like a proper local haunt, tucked away in the heart of Highgate, where you can pop in for a casual bite or linger over drinks in the garden. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food really shines with fresh, seasonal British fare and that unbeatable Sunday roast that leaves you satisfied without breaking the bank, especially with their new prix fixe menu offering great value. The team there are an absolute delight, always going the extra mile to make sure everything's just right, whether you're celebrating something special or just catching up with mates. It's got that warm, inclusive feel too, being spot on for wheelchairs and furry friends, which is a nice touch in today's world. But, to keep it real, there have been a few mentions of dishes not quite hitting the mark – like a burger that might be a tad overwhelming with cheese or a dessert that's a bit underwhelming – so it's worth keeping expectations in check. Overall, though, with such high praise from so many, I'd say it's a solid choice for anyone after a relaxed evening out; just swing by, grab a seat, and soak in the atmosphere – you might just find yourself returning for more.

I went to the Bull a few weeks ago with my family. We are regular customers and have been for the past few years. Lucas the manager always looks after us and makes sure everything is to our satisfaction. He is always willing to listen if there is something suggested to him and takes this on board. The food is always very nice although I did mention to him the last time we were there that the food could have been a bit hotter and that my mother liked the pork that they used to serve rather than the bacon that is now on the menu, which was too salty for her. I also mentioned that the price had gone up quite a lot in comparison to our other regular visits but I appreciate that prices have increased everywhere due to cost of living. Other than that it has a nice atmosphere and lovely staff and the food is really nice, which is why we are regular customers. He always accommodates my elderly mother with seating as she does not like to sit near the door. There is also an upstairs area so very spacious..
My mum has been going to The Bull in Highgate for over 50 years. The current management still welcome us with open arms with mum in a wheelchair at 99+! Amazing food, service, wheelchair and dg friendly. A fabulous traditional pub with modern cuisine and great hospitality and atmosphere- thank you! Our favourite! :-)
A really nice pub with a great selection of delicious classic pub food options. The staff are really friendly and the entire experience was fantastic.
Came here for after work food with friends. The atmosphere was nice and quiet and in a nice part of Highgate.
The burger was a bit too cheesy for my liking. The dessert chocolate mousse was a little flat inside but the strawberry cheesecake was very nice. Nonetheless I would come again but maybe just for drinks!
I had an amazing experience at The Bull. I had the steak which was absolutely perfect. The service was outstanding, with the staff being welcoming throughout. The cozy stylish ambiance made it even better.
