About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about the Buckingham Arms; it's one of those classic London spots that just hits the mark for a proper pub experience. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food is a real highlight – we're talking mouthwatering Sunday roasts, flaky pies, and those timeless British dishes that warm you up on a chilly day. The staff seem to go the extra mile, with mentions of folks like Jim being super helpful and making sure everyone's looked after, which always makes a visit that bit more enjoyable. And don't get me started on the drinks; they've a fantastic lineup of real ales and craft beers, plus some seasonal spritzes that sound perfect for a summer evening. It's smack in the middle of the action, just a stone's throw from some of London's icons, so it's brilliant if you're out exploring. On the flip side, I have to mention that there might be a hiccup with their operating status – some info suggests it could be closed, so it'd be wise to verify that beforehand to avoid any disappointment. Plus, being in such a popular area, it can fill up quickly, so you might find yourself jostling for space. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed catch-up or a bite after a day out, as long as you go in with your eyes open to the little niggles.

Incredible food, kind staff, and a lovely environment. What more could you ask for? My friend and I both had roasts; beef for me, chicken for her — INCREDIBLE. I was stuffed but wanted more because it was so good. Highly recommend making a stop here.
Fantastic experience! A woman got us started. Unfortunately I do not remember her name but she made excellent recommendations and made us feel very welcome. Jim jumped in shortly after and didn’t miss a beat. He was so helpful and speedy. He made sure we had everything we needed and were happy throughout. I would absolutely return and recommend to others.
Had an amazing time at this cozy pub! The food was spot on – the haddock and chips were perfectly crisp, the Camembert starter was gooey and indulgent, and the Scotch eggs were to die for. Cocktails were top-notch too. Big shoutout to Jim for the fantastic service – friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend! 🍻✨
I wanted to show my friends from abroad a traditional Sunday Roast. The beef roast was great, just how I remembered from my younger years growing up in England. The sticky toffee pudding was also delicious and brought back memories. The veggie roast option was also very nice and allowed our vegetarian friend to try a roast too. Nice traditional pub atmosphere and Jim looked after us just fine.
We visited the Buckingham Arms as travelers from the States looking for a truly classic British pub experience. Jim was friendly, and attentive. The mushroom Wellington we ordered was delicious— flaky pastry with savory filling. We had to order the sticky toffee pudding and it was great, too! If you’re in the area and looking for authentic pub fare this is the place to be. Thanks, Jim(Handsome) for making our visit one to remember!
