About This Pub
Ah, Brook Green – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper gem in Hammersmith, you know? From what I've gathered chatting about it, the food really steals the show; people are going on about the massive Sunday roasts, tasty fish and chips, and that French toast that's just spot on for a weekend treat. The staff make it even better, with mentions of folks like George and Shoun being dead helpful and making everyone feel welcome, which is always a plus when you're out for a pint or a bite. The place has this cosy, old-school charm with its leather seats and wooden vibes, giving off that authentic London feel that's hard to beat, and it's conveniently placed near the tube, making it easy to pop in after a day around town. Plus, being family and dog-friendly, it's versatile for all sorts of get-togethers. On the flip side, it's not all roses – a couple of mates mentioned the beef in their roast coming out cold, and there was that fuss about the beer not being chilled properly, with the manager not quite sorting it out to everyone's satisfaction. Still, with a solid 4.6 rating overall, it's clear the good bits far outweigh the bad, so if you're after a relaxed spot for drinks and grub, I'd say give it a go and see for yourself – just keep an eye on those little details!
Pros and Cons

-
Great location in Hammersmith, just a short walk from the tube and train stations, and it's family and dog-friendly, which is ideal for a casual outing.
-
They've got some cracking offers, like summer set menus and packages that include dinner and drinks, plus it's open early till late every day of the week.
Cons
-
A few folks have mentioned issues with food temperatures, like the beef in the roast being cold, which can put a bit of a dampener on an otherwise great meal.
-
There was a complaint about the beer not being cold enough, and it seems the manager didn't handle it as smoothly as one might hope, leaving some feeling a tad underwhelmed.
-
While most experiences are positive, not every visit is perfect, with one or two reviews noting service hiccups that could do with a bit more attention.

French toast was absolutely lovely, ambience and staff (especially George) are very accommodating. Will defos be back x
We came here for Sunday roast and food was delicious - we ordered the Sunday roast sharer which was absolutely massive ! Fish & chips also incredible. Our waiter Shoun was really kind and helpful :)
A very cool old school looking & fancy English pub/restaurant.
The interior is very cosy, combining leather furniture with heavy wood and so the place has this unique authentic London vibe.
I came for a pint of beer, asked the guy behind the bar for a beer recommendations, sat down and just watched life go by on the street. Then some Irish gentleman joined in and recommended a draft Guinness as "the best beer in the world", so I obviously had to try that too. Later, the bell rang and the shortly afterwards, the pub closed and kicked us out. And it was very expensive.
Awesome British experience, highly recommend!
Came here on Sunday and ordered the roast to share! It was honestly an amazing roast and the trimmings were really good! Only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the beef was cold (?) didn't understand why as everything else was at the right temperature. The service was pretty good and everyone was really dedicated to make the experience a good one!
The beer is not cold and the manager didn’t allow to change. She didn’t even bother to check by her hand, only judge by eyesight? The white wine is cold enough, but the beer is absolutely not. Didn’t finish and complained again before we leave, still insist the temperature was right…
Prawn with shell on??? You can do better than that for £12
