Duke of Hammersmith

Ah, the Duke of Hammersmith – what a gem it is, tucked away in the heart of the area. I have to say, it's one of those places that just makes you feel good as soon as you step inside; the atmosphere is so cosy and inviting, with plenty of comfortable seating and that nod to its musical history adding a bit of character. The food really steals the show – I tried the burgers and wings, and they were fresh, flavoursome, and paired perfectly with their range of craft beers and cocktails, which is a treat if you're after something a bit more than the usual pint. It's dog-friendly too, so if you're out with your pooch, it's a winner. On the flip side, though, it does tend to fill up quickly, especially for Sunday roasts, so you might find yourself queuing or needing to book ahead.
