About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about Broad Leys in Aylesbury – it's one of those places that just wraps you up in a welcoming hug the second you step inside. From what I've gathered from the chatter, the staff are absolute stars, like the hosts mentioned in the reviews who go out of their way to make everything feel personal and fun. The food really steals the show too; people are raving about the evening meals and breakfasts, with one chap even giving a big thumbs up to the chef's chorizo hash – it's clear they've got the knack for serving up fresh, hot dishes that hit the spot. And if you're looking for a place to kip, the rooms sound like a treat, all decked out with comfy beds and nice little extras, making it ideal for a quick break near the town centre. On the downside, though, it does get buzzing, which could mean it's not the quietest spot if you're after some peace, and that 4.3 rating hints there might be the odd off moment, perhaps with things getting a bit hectic during peak times or the costs adding up. All in all, it's a solid choice for us pub lovers, balancing those homely feels with a few things to keep in mind for the full picture.

Cons
-
With its popularity, it can get quite busy, especially on evenings or weekends, which might mean a bit of a wait.
-
The overall rating suggests there could be occasional service niggles, even if the recent feedback has been glowing.
-
As a moderate-priced spot, it might feel a tad on the pricey side for everyday visits, depending on your budget.

Had a lovely couple of nights at this pub. Very friendly with an excellent host called Will. Funny welcoming and a true asset.
Room was lovely ☺️
Breakfast fab.
Definitely stay again.
This place is incredible. I booked a room for my wife and my first anniversary. The outside is extremely pretty but we were not expecting how wonderful the room was. It has a beautiful low wooden ceiling, shutters on the window, a wonderfully soft bed and then a bathroom upstairs ! Complete with incredible copper bath. It was the perfect stay for our anniversary. But it was made 5* by how friendly all the staff were, especially Will who brought a great energy to breakfast, and how good the breakfast was downstairs in the pub too. The pub is easy access, especially by car and they offer free parking. Check out is later at 11, which is a very nice touch and as I’ve said, you cannot miss breakfast, which was incredible - in fact all meals looked amazing ! We would absolutely love to come back and hopefully will get to in the near future !
Made to feel welcome from the start to the finish.
Outstanding food. Evening meal and the breakfast was so so so good.
Big shout out to the CHEF Sharron!!!! This lady can cook!!! The Chorizo hash for breakfast was amazing and would recommend anyone to try this.
Rooms were a great size and bed was very comfy.
If you’re ever in the area 1000% go to this place!!!
You won’t be disappointed 👌🏻
Just had a two night stay here as I was attending an event at the Waterside theatre. The location is great with only a 10 minute max walk into town. The rooms were stylish and comfortable and there was a good selection of food and beverages plus plenty of seating inside and out in the garden. Thanks to Will for a friendly welcome and great service at breakfast each morning! Will definitely book to stay if coming to Aylesbury again.
My wife and I had a wonderful lunch today. Our server, Mags, was an excellent host, very efficient and helpful. The atmosphere was very welcoming, everything was clean and the menu offered a great choice. Our food came very quickly and it was hot and fresh. Mags made us very welcome and even spared some time to talk to us. A real genuine and lovely person and a great venue to boot. We will return soon.
