About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about the Bricklayers Arms – it's one of those pubs that just warms you up from the moment you step inside. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the beer garden is a real standout; it's massive and they've added a canopy, so you can enjoy a pint even if the weather's playing up. The selection of beers on tap is spot on, and with live music and events happening regularly, there's always something to get stuck into. It's got that classic cosy feel that's perfect for a catch-up with mates or watching the footie, and the pool table is a nice bonus for a laugh. Prices are fair too, and it seems like a place where you'll feel right at home, no matter your age. On the flip side, the front doesn't do it justice – it looks quite unassuming from the street, so you might miss it if you're not looking closely. Plus, without a website, it's a bit of a faff to get the lowdown on what's on, and the opening times can be unclear, which might catch you out. All in all, though, it's a solid spot for a good night out; I'd say give it a go if you're in Aylesbury – you won't be disappointed!
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The beer garden is an absolute delight, especially in summer – it's huge and now has a canopy, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing pint outdoors.
-
They've got a cracking selection of beers on tap, along with live music and events that really bring the place to life throughout the week.
-
It's got that cosy, traditional pub feel that's just right for a good chat or catching the latest sports, and the pool table adds a fun touch for a bit of friendly competition.
-
Prices are reasonable, and the welcoming atmosphere makes everyone feel at home, with a nice mix of people enjoying themselves.
Cons
-
The outside doesn't give much away – it looks smaller than it actually is, so you might walk past without realising what's inside.
-
There's no website or official online presence, which makes it a bit tricky to check the latest details or events before heading over.
-
The operating hours seem a tad confusing from what's listed, so it's worth double-checking to avoid any disappointment if you're planning a visit.

You can't tell from the front, but the Bricklayer's Arms has a huge garden out the back; In summer, it's fantastic.
The pub itself is a cosy old place; Good for conversations & watching sports.
Great little pub, bugger than it looks.
With old pub atmosphere and good selection of drinks.
Pool table is excellent
Popped in here for the first time last night. Great atmosphere, reasonable
Prices for a gin and tonic and felt incredibly welcome. It has a nice vibe of a traditional pub with a mix of ages all enjoying their evening. Will be returning
Really nice pub with a good selection of beers. It looks like a small pub from the outside but it's huge inside and opens up at the back to a big garden with really nice seating. I will definitely go back there soon
