About This Pub
Ah, Bluestone – it's one of those hidden gems in Chester that really stands out for anyone who appreciates a good pint. They've got this amazing array of beers on tap and in the fridge, from light session ales to bold stouts, and their wine list focuses on sustainable options that feel a bit more thoughtful. The atmosphere is just lovely, with a welcoming feel that makes it easy to settle in for a chat, and it's especially nice knowing you can bring the dog along without any fuss. The staff are absolute stars, always ready with a smile and some solid recommendations to help you pick your drink. That said, it's worth mentioning that things can get a tad pricey, so you might want to plan for it if you're out for more than one round. All in all, it's a cracking spot for beer enthusiasts and anyone after a relaxed evening, and I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you're in the area.

A top class micro bar with a great selection of beers - both cask and keg. Well worth the 1 mile walk from the centre of Chester.
Great place which always has a warm, friendly atmosphere. We used to come often for a beer until moving house, now it features sometimes as a couple of beers and other times as a coffee stop on the dog walk! They are very dog friendly, in the day and evening.
Can never fault the staff, beer, coffee or atmosphere.
Second visit to this place and I really enjoy it here. Seems to attract nice people and always has a nice calming atmosphere with great staff who are great to deal with . I've taken one star off as it's a bit pricey compared to bars in area and bars in Chester. Basically for 3 x double rums and coke here it's £25 for a round. For the same drinks at bridge inn it's £18 and that's kracken rum also. But like I said really lovely place just adds up
This is a really nice bar, it has a great atmosphere and one of the widest ranges of beers, ales, lagers and ciders I've seen in Chester. The barstaff were incredibly kind and helpful in recommending their favourites from the selection, the rest of the bar was very clean, tidy and rustic-modern feeling. They lose 1 star because it is very much on the expensive side. You pay around £6 for a Sheppeys Cider, which is gorgeous but still quite pricey I believe.
Great local bar. Friendly staff and brilliant choice of specialised beers 🍻
