About This Pub
Ah, Blossom Bistro – it's one of those places in Macclesfield that you pop into for a bite and end up having a lovely time, thanks to the warm staff who make everything feel effortless and welcoming. I love how they've got this great range of dishes, from a stellar Sunday roast that's tender and packed with flavour to fresh options like pan-fried salmon that really hit the spot. The atmosphere is just right too, with a relaxed buzz that's perfect for a casual evening out with mates. But, let's be honest, it's not all perfect; some reviews mention the steaks falling a bit flat in taste or sides like potatoes letting the side down, which can be disappointing when you're expecting top-notch grub. Still, with a solid overall rating, it's clear they get more right than wrong, and for the price, it's worth giving it a go – just keep in mind it might have an off day now and then. All in all, it's a solid choice for a meal out, especially if you're after good company and a menu that caters to different tastes.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
-
They've got some cracking dishes on offer, like that Sunday roast which sounds absolutely spot on – perfectly cooked beef and all the trimmings for a great price.
-
The atmosphere is spot on, especially in the evening with music at just the right level, creating a relaxed vibe for a good catch-up.
-
It's got a solid selection of menus, including halal options, which is brilliant for those looking for quality choices without compromise.
-
Overall, it's a welcoming spot with fresh, tasty fare that leaves you satisfied and ready to come back.
Cons
-
Some of the food can be a bit hit or miss; for instance, steaks might lack that punchy flavour you hope for, which is a shame when it looks so good on the plate.
-
There have been complaints about sides like potatoes being stale or not up to scratch, which can really dampen the meal.
-
In busier times, like on a Saturday night, things might not be as seamless, with food taking a bit longer or not quite hitting the mark.
-
While the prices are fair, a few folks felt the food didn't quite live up to the hype, especially for more premium dishes.

Visited early evening. Music was at a nice level, food came in a good amount of time and service was not to intrusive.
Lovely staff and good service however the food was the main let down. We both ordered steak and had a few sides between us. Food was well presented but the steak didn't have much flavour, veg was really nice but the potatoes were really stale and just not nice. I ordered the banoffee pie for dessert and it wasn't nice at all. The Banana slices inside it were black. I am more than happy to pay the price tag for quality food but this was far from it. The food is well overpriced for what it is. The decor looks nice on the surface but look closer and it isn't clean. There was dead flies in the window ledge and a few big meat flies flying about inside. The only toilet is a combined unisex/disabled toilet (which as a woman I don't like) The toilet seat was covered in urine when I went in and the toilet seat was broken. The light also didn't work so I had to sort this out in almost darkness.
As mentioned before the staff were all so nice, I didn't say anything for this reason and that I'm not really sure what they could do.
This is my honest review, sadly based on this experience I wouldn't eat here again.
We came here today for lunch and I had the best Sunday Roast Beef dinner I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The Beef was perfectly cooked and delicious homemade , huge Yorkshire pudding, mash & roasted potatoes and veg with extra gravy on the side for an amazing price of £14.95
I couldn’t fault anything. It was delicious!!
Great atmosphere and attentive, friendly staff. Cannot wait to come back.
Really friendly staff, and great atmosphere. It was a Saturday night with a party upstairs so the restaurant was very busy.
That said we got a seat straight away and our host and waitress were both really nice.
We all had steaks, mine was a bit more done than I'd normally have it. And the chunky chips we're great.
We also had some deserts which were fine also.
Overall this is OK, but a little pricey 👍
Went here to celebrate a birthday and was not disappointed. It is great to see that Macclesfield has a top quality halal restaurant available the Muslim residents of the town. The food was very tasty i wouldn't say it blew me away but was of high standard and the price does reflect well enough on the quality of food. Service was good again wouldn't say amazing but I would go again and recommend people to give this place a try
