About This Pub
Ah, the Beehive – it's one of those pubs that just draws you in with its warm, welcoming feel, especially if you're a fan of footie or rugby. I've heard from folks who've popped in that the staff are absolute gems, always ready with a smile and a bit of banter, which really makes the place feel like a second home. The food's reliable too – nothing groundbreaking, but it's tasty, well-priced pub classics that pair perfectly with a pint. Plus, with all the sports on offer and handy perks like the Greene King app for cheaper drinks, it's brilliant for catching the big games or even enjoying a quiz night. It's super family-oriented and even welcomes dogs, so it's ideal if you're out with the little ones or your furry mate. On the flip side, though, it can turn into a bit of a madhouse on match days – the crowds and noise might put you off if you're after a peaceful evening. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good time in Carlisle, as long as you plan ahead for the busier moments; I'd say it's worth a visit for the atmosphere alone, but keep expectations realistic for a classic pub experience.

Food is consistent, and reasonably priced. Standard pub fare. Loud on game days, and difficult to get a table, which is to be expected. Service generally pretty good.
Always a friendly welcome and a chat with Christine and Kirsty who were on today. Enjoyed a pint watching the football. Service excellent and the ultimate sharer was worth it.
Always a friendly atmosphere, great place to come and watch the football or have a quiet drink. Good food and lovely staff. Always recommend
Great atmosphere, staff were great, tasty food and a good pint. Gets really busy but staff are on the ball you are never waiting long. They do weekly quiz nights and show lots of sports. Good place to take the little ones as well.
Good pub. Nice big bar, good for watching sports. Friendly staff. Family friendly. Food is pretty good, it's Greene King menu. Cheaper drinks when football on using the Greene King sports app. Also can get plenty of free drinks with it.
