About This Pub

You know, when I popped into the Barnt Green Inn, it really felt like that quintessential country pub you'd hope for in the West Midlands – all about good times and great grub. The food stands out as a highlight; think hearty roasts with generous portions and desserts that are an absolute delight, making it a brilliant spot for a Sunday lunch or a casual bite. The atmosphere is just lovely, with stunning decor and that outdoor garden that's perfect for soaking up the sun with a pint in hand. It's no wonder it's got such high praise from so many – it captures that authentic pub charm brilliantly. On the other hand, service can be a mixed bag; some visits are smooth sailing, but others have had waits that drag on, and the odd dish might not pack the punch you'd expect flavour-wise. All in all, it's a solid choice if you're after a relaxed outing, just go in with an open mind and you'll likely have a cracking time.

Visited for Sunday Lunch over the May Bank Holiday weekend. The gardens were full with families enjoying the sun. Our lunch was absolutely beautiful. Cooked well with generous portions. We enjoyed deserts too. The staff were attentive and helpful. The decor in this pub is stunning. I would highly recommend a visit here, you will not be disappointed.

I think the food was good but not exceptional or outstanding. Lacked some flavor and the dessert was okay. Service was sub par but the Guinness was very good. Place is very big and kept clean which is a plus. Will love to come back to try more dishes and give the staff another chance but the food is good just don't get your hopes up of it being outstanding.

Firstly what a warm welcoming feel to this place, We arrived 10 minutes earlier but was seated right away, took around 15mins to be asked for our drink and food order, Food took a further 30ish mins to come out and by that time we was starving 😩 we ordered the 3 meats roast....... well thank god for the half of chicken as the beef was 1 slice and pork belly was a very small cut, roast potatoes sadly was almost raw and like rocks. The service was poor as was not asked for further drinks and when asking for the bill, it took around 10 minutes to be brought to our table. Overall not the best experience and for what we paid very much over price.

On a perfect Sunday morning, with the warm temperature adding to the charm, my experience at Barnt Green Inn was nothing short of delightful. We started by enjoying a drink outside, soaking in the pleasant weather before indulging in our Sunday roast feast. Opting for the trio of roast plate, which featured chicken, beef, and pork belly, was a decision I didn't regret. Each meat was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and accompanied by all the traditional trimmings. The portion size was generous, leaving me feeling satisfied but not overly stuffed. Service throughout our meal was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The interior decor added to the ambiance, with beautiful touches that elevated the dining experience. Overall, Barnt Green Inn proved to be a top-notch Sunday roast destination. From the delicious food to the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service, it exceeded all expectations. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to treat yourself to a Sunday roast at Barnt Green Inn – you won't be disappointed.
