About This Pub
You know, when I pop into Bacco Lounge, it's one of those places that really feels like a hidden gem in Rugby – a mix of café and bar that's just right for anything from a morning breakfast to evening tipples with mates. They've nailed the food side of things, with a diverse menu that caters to all sorts, whether you're after something hearty or a lighter bite, and it's lovely how they make everyone feel included with those thoughtful options. The staff are an absolute delight, always chipping in with a smile and going the extra mile to sort you out, which adds to that relaxed, friendly buzz. And let's not forget the little extras, like being able to bring your dog along or grabbing a board game for a bit of fun – it's those touches that make it stand out. On the downside, it's not the bargain basement when it comes to prices, so you might feel the pinch if you're planning a regular night out, and it does fill up quickly, which can mean a wait that disrupts the flow. Plus, while the seating has that cosy appeal, some bits like the sofas might leave you wishing for a bit more support after a while. All things considered, it's a solid spot for a good time, with plenty to love and just a few niggles to keep in mind.

-
The staff are super friendly and always ready to lend a hand, creating that warm, homely feel that makes you want to come back.
-
It's dog-friendly and has board games on offer, which is just brilliant for a relaxed family outing or a casual catch-up with friends.
-
The atmosphere is cosy and full of character, set in a historic building with a lovely courtyard and airy dining areas that add to the charm.
-
They've got some cracking deals like Tapas Tuesdays and cocktail offers, which help keep things affordable and fun for a midweek treat.
Cons
-
Prices are a bit on the higher side for what you get, so it might not be the best pick if you're watching your pennies.
-
It can get quite busy at peak times, which means you might end up waiting around for a table and missing out on that instant seat.
-
Some of the seating, like the sofas, feels a tad too soft and could do with being a bit firmer for proper comfort during a longer visit.

Pretty decent cafe to have a meal and a drink.
Went there for a breakfast in the morning and therefore later on the evenings for the drinks and some food
Could say it's not the best but it's a good place to eat and have a drink
Prices are not the cheapest but also are not overpriced
Would recommend it
Lovely food, decor and staff. You may have to wait for a table during busy times as it is very popular but usually get seating within a few minutes. Love that it is dog friendly and has a board games cupboard for kids.
We came to Bacco lounge for a dinner, and it was lovely. The food was delicious and the staff were very accommodating to our requests! Shona and Tamzin in particular were very welcoming and happy to help us out. We would definitely come back.
Overall the ambience was good and the food was with quality. The variety of offerings are very wide and was extended to Asian and Mexican. They were surprisingly good too. Portion was appropriate. The only thing is the sofa was a bit too soft and we had to swop, otherwise, rest of settings are comfy and spacious.
Servers were attentive and overall, a great place to hang out with friends and chat.
I recently dined at Bacco Lounge and had an exceptional experience. The restaurant offers a diverse menu, catering to various dietary preferences, including vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan, and non-vegetarian options, as well as a dedicated kids' menu. This inclusivity makes it a fantastic choice for groups with different dietary needs.
I opted for the Bang Bang Chicken, and it did not disappoint. The dish was perfectly cooked, with a delightful blend of flavors that left a lasting impression. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was appealing.
The ambiance of Bacco Lounge is warm and inviting, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it an ideal spot for a casual meal or a special occasion. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly.
Additionally, for families dining with children, Bacco Lounge provides drawing sheets with coloring pens to keep the little ones entertained, which is a thoughtful touch that adds to the overall dining experience.
Overall, Bacco Lounge exceeded my expectations with its wide range of menu options, excellent service, and kid-friendly amenities. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
