About This Pub

Ah, Aragon House – it's one of those places that really grows on you once you step inside. From what I've heard from folks who've been, the location near Parsons Green is an absolute gem, dead easy for grabbing a coffee or wandering around, and the staff are just lovely, always ready with a smile and helpful tips, like sorting out hotel bits or recommending the lamb, which sounds divine. The food steals the show too; sharing that huge roast gammon for £55 left people feeling like royalty, with heaps of tasty leftovers, though they mentioned the roasties could use a touch more oven time for that perfect crisp. On the flip side, it's not all smooth sailing – prices can sting a bit, especially at £350 a night, and if you're after a quiet evening, the garden parties might keep things a tad rowdy until late, plus some rooms feel a bit plain without much flair. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed meal or stay if you're up for the vibe, but worth weighing up if you're on a tighter budget or need some peace and quiet.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The location's spot on, right near Parsons Green, making it a breeze to explore London or nip out for a stroll.
  • Service is absolutely brilliant; the staff go above and beyond, like helping with hotel needs or giving top recommendations.
  • The food is a real highlight – that roast gammon is massive, tasty, and offers great value for a shared meal, with plenty of leftovers to boot.
  • Rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, perfect for a relaxing stay with everything you need on hand.
  • It's a fantastic spot for gatherings, with lovely interiors and private rooms that make events feel special.
Cons
  • It can get quite noisy with parties in the back garden, especially late at night, which might disrupt a good night's sleep.
  • Prices are a bit steep, like £350 a night, so it might not be the most budget-friendly option for everyone.
  • Some rooms feel a tad bland and unimpressive in terms of decor, lacking that extra wow factor.
  • A few dishes could do with a tweak, such as the roasties needing a bit more crunch or flavour to really hit the mark.

It struck me as surprisingly expensive (£350/night) and was rather noisy with revelers in the back garden partying until pretty late, but not reasonable to object to under the circumstances (polo at Hurlingham etc). The room was bland and unimpressive in terms of decorative style, and the bathroom (with a disabled access type wet room design) was institutional to the extreme. But the bed was comfortable and the linen good quality. On balance it was ok. Nothing special, but extremely convenient for Hurlingham.

Awesome, massive, good value roast gammon to share. Meat was excellent and great range of veg. Roasties were good, slightly more bashing and more fat and more oven please. Slightly more. My wife and I shared one for £55, ate like a king and queen. Two boxes of left overs. I had the left overs for lunch on Monday, she took the final box to work for lunch today.

This was my second stay at Aragon House, and it was just as fantastic as the first, which was back in 2024. The location near Parsons Green is perfect, and the service is top-notch. Huge thanks to Sian for all her help with hotel needs and to Raphaella for her great recommendations—the lamb was incredible. Shoutout to Michael and the two Alex’s behind the bar for making every visit a great one. Already planning my next stay for 2026!

Very nice place, lovely interior. We used a private room for a Birthday get together and the lady serving was absolutely brilliant. The food was nice and lovely room over looking Parsons Green. Downstairs really seemed popular and I think this is a very good place for a drink or get together with friends and or family.

I had an incredible stay at Aragon House! The room was charming, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The staff was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. I enjoyed several meals at the on-site restaurant, and each dish was absolutely delicious with fresh, quality ingredients. The ambiance, both in the hotel and the restaurant, was cozy and inviting, making my entire experience unforgettable. I can't wait to return!
