About This Pub
Ah, the Worcester Arms – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a hidden gem in Worcester, you know? From what I've gathered from folks' chats online, it's got this really inviting atmosphere where the beers are always spot on and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, which is just lovely for a casual night out. The music adds a fun backdrop, and that outdoor seating area is brilliant for sunnier days or even ordering in some grub from nearby to enjoy with your drink. But, let's be straight, it's not all perfect – some of the locals can come across as a bit cliquey, which might leave you feeling a smidge unwelcome if you're not a familiar face. Plus, if you're hoping for more than just snacks, you might be disappointed, and the hours can be a bit unpredictable, wrapping up earlier than you'd expect for a proper pub sesh. Overall, it's a solid choice for a pint and a chat, as long as you go in with realistic expectations and a friendly smile.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The beer and ale selection is spot on – plenty of great choices that really hit the spot for a proper pint.
-
Staff are always friendly and efficient, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
-
The atmosphere is lively with some cracking music playing, perfect for a relaxed evening out.
-
There's an excellent seating area at the back and a superb pub garden, ideal for catching up with mates on a nice day.
-
You can even order food from next door, like Chinese or pizzas on certain days, which adds a nice touch for when you're peckish.
Cons
-
Some of the regular crowd can be a bit territorial, which might make first-timers feel a tad out of place.
-
Food options are pretty limited, mostly just crisps and the like, so it's not the spot if you're after a full meal.
-
The opening hours seem a bit inconsistent or on the early side, which could put a damper on late-night plans.

Popped in en route to town. Have never been before. Was pleasantly surprised. Good ale and beer selection. Bar staff friendly. Love music. I rate this gaff.
Good pub , Excellent seating area at the rear . Good ale . Regular customers think they have the rights over none regularly customer only negative.
This pub is local to me but I haven't been in for probably 20 years (it used to be the Seabright) and back then it wasn't that good. I have to say I was impressed! Nice open plan pub with a good choice of beers and ciders. They don't do food (except crisps & pickled eggs etc) but you can order from the Chinese takeaway next door and eat it in the pub... Great idea. Only small downside for me was lots of TVs - so can't escape them if you wanted too, but to be fair the volume was low. Doesn't look much from the outside but you will be pleasantly surprised. Recommended.
Great pub. Good atmosphere with an excellent choice of beers, spirits and wines. Friendly, efficient staff. Music is always good too! Our regular. You can even order Chinese from next door and eat it in the pub!
This is our go to Worcester pub. Staff are exceptional, beer is on point and the food is fantastic - they do Pizzas on Thursdays and some superb nachos. Nowhere else in Worcester has a better pub garden. Very highly recommended
