About This Pub
So, let me tell you about the White Horse in Prestwich – it's one of those pubs that just warms your heart the second you step inside. I love how the staff go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, with their cheerful chats and quick service that really sets the tone for a great evening. The atmosphere strikes just the right balance, blending that classic pub feel with a few modern updates, making it perfect whether you're popping in for a quiet pint or joining in on the fun with quizzes or karaoke. The beers are spot on, especially the Joseph Holt selections, and with all those special offers, it's easy on the wallet too. It's got everything you need for watching the match or catching up with mates, and being in the middle of Prestwich Village just adds to the appeal. On the flip side, if you're hoping for a late-night adventure, it wraps up a bit early at 11 PM, and it might not be ideal for families since things like kids' options aren't always available, though they did handle that nicely in one case I heard about. Overall, it's a solid spot that does most things right, and I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're after a genuine, enjoyable pub experience without any fuss.
Pros and Cons

-
It's got a lovely cosy atmosphere with a perfect blend of traditional pub charm and modern touches, ideal for a relaxed catch-up
-
They offer a fantastic selection of beers, especially the Joseph Holt ones, and there are some great special offers to keep things affordable
-
Plenty of entertainment on offer, like midweek quizzes, Sunday karaoke, and live sports on big screens – something for everyone without it feeling too crowded
-
Being inexpensive means you can enjoy a good night out without breaking the bank, and it's conveniently located in the heart of Prestwich Village
Cons
-
It might not be the best choice if you're after a late-night spot, as it closes at 11 PM most evenings
-
Options for families with little ones could be limited, like not having kids' bottles on hand, though the team were helpful in sorting it out
-
While it's got a great vibe, it could get a bit lively during events, so if you prefer somewhere super quiet, it might not always hit the mark
