About This Pub
Ah, the Tudor Rose in Hemel Hempstead – it's one of those local gems that really pulls you in with its warm, easy-going atmosphere. From what I've gathered, it's all about that community spirit, with lively events and entertainment that keep the place buzzing, whether it's quiz nights or just a casual get-together. The drinks are a highlight too; the prices are fair and there's a great selection, making it a wallet-friendly spot for a night out. If you're into sports, you'll love the HD screens blasting Sky and BT, perfect for cheering on the footie or rugby with mates. And let's not forget the beer garden – it's spacious and inviting, ideal for soaking up some sun or even braving the British weather with a pint in hand. The staff really add to the charm, being super friendly and on point with service. On the flip side, though, that members-only policy can be a bit of a barrier; it might make you hesitate if you're new to the area or just popping in for a quick one. Plus, with no food on offer, you might find yourself nipping out for a bite, which isn't ideal. And honestly, it's a shame about that one review where someone felt unwelcomed – it's important for places like this to make everyone feel at home. Overall, it's a solid choice for a relaxed evening, but worth keeping those points in mind if you're deciding where to head next.

Very welcoming family pub, lively ,good entertainment and always some event , very good prices as well
I really enjoy coming to the Tudor Rose, the bar staff are friendly and it's a good atmosphere. Barry has done a very good job making the place fun and enjoyable to drink in.
Nicely refurbished, simply can't beat the prices. Bar staff friendly efficient service.
They've done a really good job of the refurb. Perfect place for sports with plenty of decent TVs. Great selection of beers and the prices are really good especially in this day and age. They don't serve food so drink only.
After the pub had reopened I thought I'd have a quick drink, signage said 'NEW MEMBERS WELCOME ' so me and my partner when in, walked to the bar and before I could think to ask for a drink I was told ' MEMBERS ONLY' so my understanding is if you look right ( colour) you will welcome. Looking forward to it being shut down soon! #KARMA *** update July 2023- to my surprise (NOT) this establishment is now shut down, I am happy, to say the least, and good riddance!!
