About This Pub

Ah, The Windmill Pub – what a lovely little spot it is, tucked away in Lambeth. I have to say, it's one of those places that just feels right from the moment you step inside, with its historic charm going back to the 1400s and a welcoming vibe that's hard to beat. The food really stands out; their pizzas and fish and chips are spot on, and that Pizza and Pint special for £16 is an absolute bargain, especially on a weekday afternoon. The staff are brilliant too – always up for a chat and quick to help with anything, whether it's dietary preferences or recommendations for exploring London. It's got that authentic feel, more of a local favourite than a tourist trap, which is great if you're after a genuine British pub experience. On the downside, though, it's only open five days a week, so you'll need to check the hours to avoid disappointment, and it might take a bit of navigating to find it among the surrounding buildings. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good meal and a pint, and I'd definitely pop back for more – just make sure to plan ahead!

This was the Perfect spot for lunch! We had wonderful pizzas and pints. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. They were able to accommodate my dietary needs. The owner was so lovely and helped these 2 tourists plan our day tomorrow with must-see London activities. We had a great time! We’ll be back!

Tucked away behind many of the large buildings near to the Thames, is this great little pub that has a fantastic design inside. I'd highly suggest going inside if you haven't yet been.
