About This Pub

Ah, The Waterfront – it's one of those pubs that just warms you up from the get-go, isn't it? Picture this: you're sat by the river, soaking in those breathtaking views, maybe watching the sunset while enjoying a well-poured pint or a tasty cocktail. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food really steals the show – think mouthwatering fish and chips or a hearty Sunday roast that's perfect for sharing with mates. The team there seem spot on too, always on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly, whether you're nipping in for a quick drink or booking for a larger crowd. It's got that relaxed vibe that's ideal for unwinding after a long week. But, to keep it real, it's not the cheapest spot in town, so you might want to save it for when you're feeling like splashing out a bit. All in all, it's a solid choice if you're after a proper pub experience with a scenic twist – I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you're nearby.

From the moment we arrived, this place captured our senses — not just with the incredible food and drinks, but with its unbeatable waterfront setting that felt like a mini vacation. Nestled right on the edge of the water, the views were absolutely stunning. Watching the sunset while sipping cocktails and hearing the gentle ripple of the waves was the kind of atmosphere you dream about. It set the perfect tone for an unforgettable evening. Now onto the food — every single dish we ordered was flawless. We started with the seafood platter, and wow — everything was fresh, perfectly chilled, and generously portioned. The oysters were briny and sweet, the prawns were plump and juicy, and the smoked salmon was delicate and flavorful. Paired with a crisp glass of white wine recommended by our server, it was the ideal beginning. For the mains, I had the grilled sea bass served on a bed of wild rice with a citrus-herb sauce that was absolutely divine. The fish was cooked to perfection — flaky, moist, and full of flavor without being overly seasoned. My partner went for the sirloin steak. Rich, hearty, and deeply satisfying, it was clear the kitchen puts a lot of care and time into their dishes. The cocktails were just as impressive. I tried their signature waterfront mojito, which was refreshing and balanced — not too sweet, with just the right kick of lime and mint. Their espresso martini also deserves a shout-out — smooth, strong, and with a beautiful crema on top. The bar team really knows their craft. Dessert was the cherry on top — we shared a sticky toffee pudding that was airy, rich, and indulgent without being overly heavy. Paired with a late harvest Riesling, it made for the perfect ending to a perfect meal. The staff were warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. They seemed genuinely happy to be there, which added to the welcoming vibe. Our server took the time to explain the menu, made spot-on drink pairings, and checked in at just the right moments. Overall, this place is an absolute gem. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want to treat yourself to an amazing meal with a killer view, you won’t be disappointed. We’ll definitely be coming back — this spot has officially become one of our favorite go-to destinations. Highly, highly recommend.

Made a booking for a table of 40. Food was incredible and service was great! Marta and Steven made it such a lovely experience. No hassle which there can be sometimes with large tables! Highly recommend.

I hadn't intended to go for lunch today. I was taking a walk along the south of the river, and the weather began to turn. I came across The Waterfront, and decided to go in for a drink. It wasn't long after I sat down that I started to smell the lovely food from the kitchen... and saw the plates of food being delivered to other tables. I quickly changed my mind and thought it would be a great place to have a Sunday (late) Lunch. I went for the trio, beef, pork belly and chicken! Wow! I was not disappointed. The beef was perfectly cooked, the pork belly melting in the mouth and chicken tender. I also can't fault the vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. I'm so full up that I really should continue my walk... but I think I'll take the bus.

Quality of the food is very good, a lovely spot to take your loved ones. Definitely on the pricier side, but with genuine views of the river and Wandsworth Bridge. We had the Sunday roast and starters, all delicious and good portions.
