About This Pub

Ah, The Village Crossing Bar, what a hidden gem in Billingham! I have to say, from what I've gathered from the reviews and details, it's one of those places that just hits the spot for a proper pint and a chat. The beer selection is brilliant – think a great range of real ales and ciders that go way beyond the usual suspects, so if you're into exploring new brews, you'll love it. The staff are absolute stars, always up for a laugh and making everyone feel welcome, which really adds to that homely vibe. It's got a cosy setup with good music playing in the background, and it's even dog-friendly, so you could pop in with your pooch for a treat. On the flip side, it's a small bar, so it might get a tad crowded on busier nights, and the operating hours listed are a bit all over the place, which could catch you out if you're not careful. Plus, without a website, it's not the easiest to plan ahead. All in all, though, with a solid 4.5 rating from folks who've been there, it's worth a visit for a relaxed night out – I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you're in the area.

Pros and Cons

  • Lovely cosy atmosphere with good music and a warm vibe, making it a great spot for a relaxed catch-up with mates.
  • Dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along for a pint and some treats.

Cons
  • The bar is on the smaller side, so it might feel a bit snug if it gets busy on evenings.
  • Operating hours seem a tad inconsistent in the listings, which could mean double-checking before heading out.
  • No website available, so it's trickier to get the latest info or book ahead if you're planning a visit.

Great little pub. Brilliant selection of beers and ciders (not the usual fare found everywhere else). Looked like a good selection of spirits too, but didn't look too hard at them. Friendly staff, very welcoming ... Will definitely be going back.
