About This Pub
You know, when I think about pubs like The Trafford, it's got that real charm for anyone caught up in the football fever around Manchester United. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's a brilliant place to grab a drink before or after a game – the energy from the home fans is infectious, and folks have raved about how welcoming the staff are and how the decor really sets the mood. It's even family-oriented on match days, which is a lovely bonus if you're out with the little ones. But, let's be honest, it's not without its quirks; the pub's tiny, with barely enough seats for a small crowd, so arriving early is a must to avoid standing around. Plus, that entrance fee and the cost of drinks might make you think twice if you're on a tight budget. Overall, it's a gem for game-day enthusiasts, but if you're not planning around a match, you might find yourself out of luck. Still, for that authentic fan experience, I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area.
Pros and Cons

It's child-friendly on match days, which is a nice touch for families wanting to join in the fun.

Cons
-
It's only open on match days, so you can't just nip in for a casual pint any other time.
-
The space is really small with just about 12 seats, meaning you might end up standing if you don't get there early.
-
There's a small entrance fee, like £1 per person, which adds up if you're with a group.
-
Drinks are on the pricier side, around £8 for a pint and a soft drink, so it might hit the wallet a bit.

Lovely place to visit on a game day. Great staff and decor were wonderful. Outside area was nice to chill.
If you are a Red Devils fan, you must come here for at least one drink before the game, experience the great atmosphere of the home fans, and then have another beer after the game. GGMU
Visiting from the States, this was a great pub which is child friendly. (1£ pp to enter on match day.) only open on match days apparently. I enjoyed a bev and my child had a Pepsi. Only about 12 seats total in this pub so if you don’t arrive early you’ll be standing. We arrived about 4 hours before kickoff and were able to enjoy the crowd before heading off to the match. No food served here. Would definitely come back. Incredible murals and memorabilia through out the building.
A must stop for pre- and post-match drink. Incredible atmosphere.
My son and I popped in here for a pre-match drink, (home fans only) after the wetherspoons across the road wouldn't allow under 18's in. There was a small entrance fee. The drinks aren't cheap but neither are they extortionate, about £8 for a pint of lager and a can of Pepsi max. Atmosphere was good in here and steadily got busier towards kick off time. There wasn't any trouble, door staff and bar staff were all friendly and helpful. There's an excellent mural of the man united badge, on the side of the building, many people were getting pictures of themselves in front of it. Next time we come to see a match, we will definitely call in.
