About This Pub
Ah, The Three Horseshoes – it's one of those reliable Harvester spots that you can always count on for a laid-back meal with friends or family. From what I've gathered, the staff really shine here; they're attentive and go the extra mile to ensure everything's just right, whether it's sorting out a bigger table for a birthday bash or making sure your visit feels special. The food's generally spot on too – think juicy grills, rotisserie chicken, and that legendary unlimited salad bar where you can pile on fresh veggies to your heart's content. It's all about great value without skimping on flavour, and the atmosphere is welcoming, especially after their recent spruce-up that gives the place a fresh, modern vibe. That said, it's not all perfect; a few folks have mentioned steaks not coming out as ordered, and some meals turning up a bit lukewarm, which can be a letdown on an otherwise enjoyable evening. Still, with its convenient location near fun spots like the Harry Potter studios, it's a solid choice for a casual get-together. If you're after a family-friendly pub with a warm welcome and decent grub, give it a go – just keep those steak preferences clear when you order!
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely brilliant – they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, like Vicky and Khaled who turn a simple meal into a proper treat.
-
The food's a winner, especially the grills and that unlimited salad bar; it's fresh, full of flavour, and you can really make it your own for a healthy twist.
-
It's great value for money, being an inexpensive spot where you get a hearty meal without breaking the bank, perfect for family outings or catching up with mates.
-
The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with a recent refurb that makes the place look fresh and inviting.
-
Handy location near places like the Harry Potter Studio tour, making it ideal for a quick bite after some adventuring.
Cons
-
Steak cooking can be hit or miss; it's a shame when you ask for medium rare and end up with something else, which has put a few people off.
-
Some dishes arrive on the cooler side, which might leave you wishing they'd kept things piping hot.
-
As it's part of a chain, it can feel a bit standard at times, without that unique local pub charm you'd hope for in a spot called The Three Horseshoes.

Had a great dinner after Harry Potter Studio tour (5 minutes away). Vicky made the visit really enjoyable - nothing was too much! The world needs more Vicky in it!!
I am a regular at the Harvester and it is one of our favourite restaurants. Khaled was our waiter today and he is always attentive, obliging and goes above and beyond to make our eating experience extremely enjoyable. I would always recommend Harvester and Khaled as well.
I celebrated my birthday here this year and inadvertently reserved a table for more people than expected. The staff graciously accommodated us by providing a larger table. They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure my friends and I had a wonderful time. One individual, JAKE, truly stood out. He is a fantastic asset to your company, providing outstanding service and consistently going the extra mile. Please recognize and commend him for his exceptional work. He is brilliant. As always, the food was amazing, the value was excellent, and the overall service was simply superb. 5 stars to each and every member of the team!
The food is actually good, but in my opinion, they need a chef who can cook steak. Last 3 times now I have ordered steak I have requested medium rare. I have had 3 differently cooked steak. Also you can see why some meals are served on the cold side, as they place a meal ready for serving to one side whilst they wait for others in that order to finish their cook.
First time here, and wow this place has certainly got it right, They have just had a re-fit and it looks amazing, Other Harvester's could take note here, on arrival parked up, here you have to register your car, which is easy to do, and we was greeted by Cally very friendly and helpful, she showed us to our table, was a delight to see someone who enjoys there job, so well done to her. Then we were attended to by Chelsea who again was so helpful and was working very hard. If I could rate here 10/10 then I would, so if your passing or your a local call in and see for yourself. Thank you for looking after us today.
