The Theatre Workshop Bar in Stratford

You know, I had a wander into The Theatre Workshop Bar the other day, and it's got this really welcoming feel to it, especially with its ties to the local theatre – makes for a bit of a cultural treat. The DJs on weekends are spot on, and the drinks are fairly priced, which is always a win when you're out for a relaxed evening or even a light dance. They've got these free events that add a nice buzz, and the staff are generally chuffed to help, sorting out problems without much fuss. On the flip side, though, the bar service can drag on, and they don't always pay attention to the queue, which might leave you standing there a while. Then there's the food – it can take forever to come out, and when it does, it's not always up to scratch, with some folks finding it bland and disappointing.
