About This Pub
Ah, The Sunnyside Inn in Nuneaton is one of those cosy spots you'd happily recommend to your mates for a bite and a bevvy. From what I've gathered from the buzz around, the food's a real winner – think juicy burgers and those classic Sunday roasts with locally sourced meats and lashings of gravy, all at prices that won't break the bank. The team there really know how to make you feel at home, with a smile and attentive service that adds to the welcoming feel, and it's spot on for families or if you're bringing the dog along for the ride. Plus, with events like bingo and quiz nights, there's always something to liven up your visit. On the downside, it does get rammed on busier days, leading to longer waits that might leave you a bit peckish, and a few folks have mentioned that some sides, like the roast spuds, aren't always up to scratch. All in all, it's a solid choice with that 4.5 rating, so swing by for a pint and give it a go – just pop in early or book ahead to avoid any faff.

Cons

Some dishes don't quite hit the spot every time, such as the roast potatoes that could do with a bit more flair.

Friendly local with good beer.
Sunday lunch: ok, roast spuds could be better, and no parsnips.
We will be back to try other things on the menu.
We visited for Mother's day. The food was nice enough and excellent value for the price we paid. However we were in the restaurant for nearly three hours for two of us. Appreciate that Mothers day is a busy day but the wait times were lengthy. we waited one hour for two ice cream desserts which is not OK. We did chase this twice with the staff to be told we were next and then watched as two tables of eight people were served before us. I did complain and was told sorry. I would give the Sunnyside another go, just not for a special occasion as the lengthy wait did spoil the day somewhat.
Love this pub. Always friendly. Zero trouble. Pet friendly. Great food. A real “local”. Nothing is too much trouble. Pete and Emily run n a great place to enjoy a pint.
Ran like clockwork, clean light and airy estate pub. Just cannot fault it. Great food, great management and great environment. Especially recommended the Sunday Dinner and the Burgers, but go regularly and no one in the family has a bad word to say about The Sunnyside, it's just very good.
Good food, good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Will come back!
