About This Pub
Ah, the Hare and Hounds Inn – it's one of those classic pubs that just feels like a proper local spot, you know? From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this inviting atmosphere that's perfect for catching up with friends over a pint. The traditional building and that lovely outdoor garden really stand out; imagine sinking into a seat with a cold drink, especially if they've got the bouncy castle out for the little ones – it's a nice touch for family outings. And the drinks are spot on, inexpensive and well-kept, like that decent Bass on cask, plus there's fun extras like pool and darts to keep things lively. But, let's be honest, it's not all roses. They don't do food, which is a shame if you're hoping for a bite to go with your beer, and there have been a few grumbles about service – one person had a right nightmare with a wrong order and some rather brusque staff, which left a sour taste. Still, with an overall rating of 4.3, it seems most people have a good time, so if you're popping in for a casual drink, I'd say give it a go, but maybe keep expectations in check for the finer details.

Popped in for a random drink. Easy parking lovely outside little garden that had a bouncy castle for the kids. This weekend only... The drinks are cheap and well priced.. well worth popping in for a drink with the family lovely atmosphere…
Will be definitely returning ..
Went to a karaoke night.
The music was great.
However!
They got my family's drink wrong and refused to replace it.
The pubs attitude was disgusting, they told her not to bother coming back again.
I was really shocked as I was under the impression it was under new management.
Well they just lost future customers and I would never recommend the pub.
A friendly, attractive pub that looked to be run to a good standard. Dropped in for a drink and enjoyed the tidy/well kept rear garden. Toilets were 'exceptionally clean` according to my partner.
