About This Pub
Ah, The Star, what a lovely spot it is! From what I've gathered chatting about it with others, it's got this welcoming, spacious interior that's been done up nicely, almost like stepping into a Peaky Blinders set, which really adds to the charm. The staff are top-notch, always on point with their service and making sure everything runs smoothly, and the food? Well, it's spot on – fresh, hot, and packed with flavour, perfect for a Sunday lunch or a casual bite. They've got a good range of drinks too, so whether you're after a real ale or just a cold one while watching the game on the screens, it's sorted. On the flip side, it can feel a tad quiet now and then, which might not be everyone's cup of tea if you're after a more energetic crowd, and I've heard a few mentions of mixed-up opening times that could catch you out. All in all, though, it's a solid choice for a laid-back evening or a meet-up with friends – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed!

A lovely bar, spacious, great atmosphere, and friendly staff.
This is my favourite place! I come here often and they never disappoint. Had lunch on Sunday for a catch up with my friend and food and service were both amazing, as usual!
I discovered this hidden gem about 10 years ago, and it’s had its fair share of memorable moments. Overall, I absolutely love the Star Pub, both before and after the refurbishment. I’m especially thrilled that Richard is now in charge—he’s by far the best manager they’ve ever had. Richard is attentive, kind, compassionate, and has outstanding interpersonal skills. A friend of mine was having a rough day, and even though I couldn’t make it to the pub, Richard went out of his way to make sure she got her drink from me. It was a thoughtful and selfless gesture that truly went above and beyond. The food is fantastic—well above typical pub standards—and the drinks are very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and provide excellent customer service. Who would have thought Harrow had so much to offer? With epic live acts, club nights, comedy, open mic, flowing cocktails, and top-notch pub grub, there’s never a dull moment. I’ll definitely keep coming back!
Excellent and friendly staff, professional service. The ingredients are of good quality, and the food is deliciously tasty and served hot ! The décor is exquisite, with a wise choice of lighting and colours in the spacious hall styled in the manner of Peaky Blinders.
As soon as you enter, you're enveloped by the good old sounds of blues and Rock 'n' Roll, and you feel invited to enjoy a traditional cup of English tea and fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the space. I recommend this pub to all who appreciate good food and a cosy atmosphere !!!
A super modern pub next to South Harrow underground station. Quiet on my visit, perhaps because Mr Google thinks it doesn't open till 10pm at the weekends. Plenty of keg beers and two cask ales for the real ale drinkers. There is a pool table here and many flat screens for showing sport. A great place for a pint.
