About This Pub
You know, when you first walk into The Stag & Hen, it's that kind of place that just wraps you up in a welcoming hug – the staff are absolute stars, always ready with a smile and a chat, and the food is spot on, with fresh, hearty options like breakfasts and Sunday roasts that won't set you back much at all. The pints are top-notch too, especially if you're after something locally sourced, and it's brilliant for dog owners or anyone wanting to catch live music or sports in a relaxed setting. On the flip side, it's a shame they haven't got a website or much online buzz, so you might have to ring ahead to sort out the details, and it can fill up quickly on busier days, which might put a dampener on spontaneous visits. All in all, it's a cracking little spot that Coventry's been crying out for, and I'd say it's well worth a try if you're after an authentic pub experience with a friendly crowd.

Very friendly staff, welcoming the minute you walk through the door. Fresh and tasty food and one of the best pints in town!!
Very friendly traditional pub. Me and my sister took my Dad for dinner for fathers day dinner. Food was really good and great vale at £11:95 for lamb/beef/chicken. The staff are really friendly especially the landlord Paul.
Absolutely brilliant dog friendly pub and a perfect locally sourced pint everytime. Lovely breakfasts and Sunday lunches, with a really relaxed community atmosphere with plenty going on with weekdays and weekend events. Just what Coventry has been waiting a very long time for! Highly recommend

The atmosphere in here is absolutely spot on amazing, live music almost every weekend, can watch live sports, the owners Ellie & Paul are fantastic such an amazing couple. Would highly recommend everyone to go to this pub and spend your hard earned cash, they will look after you, the staff members behind the bar are amazing and so respectful, they also have beds to sleep in nice clean sheets very clean rooms and comfortable beds for anyone who has problems with their spine like myself. City centre just down the road.

Nipped in for a quick pint. A real down to earth traditional British pub. Friendly local crowd and live pianist, spot on for a Sunday lunchtime.
