Great family run pub, lovely food and brilliant staff. And dog friendly! Hosted a special birthday for us recently and Sarah is an amazing host. Plenty of space and a nice beer garden for sunnier days. Well worth a visit :)

We have done many many balloons & decorations for parties held at Royal Queen. Sarah is always very helpful and working with us happily to arrange suitable places for us according to our clients needs. Sarah is always very flexible with prop collection times as well We are very happy to decorate any events and parties at the Royal Queen.

The Party Balloons

I recently organised a surprise party for a gathering of 35 guests at the Royal Queen. From my first point of contact Sarah ( the landlady) could not have been more accommodating and her communication throughout was excellent, always responding to any queries very promptly. There was no charge for the private use of the room but a stipulation that catering requirements would be done in house at a very reasonable cost. The pubs has a generous car park for guests and a beautiful beer garden, inside was spotless and welcoming and there is a good range of beverages on offer. Sarah and the team allowed me access to decorate the day before the party and offered me the use of an Excellent Bluetooth speaker so I could curate a personal playlist for the day, which was such a nice touch . The team went over and above to assist me and ensured all my plans for the occasion ran smoothly and everyone had an amazing time. Many thanks to all involved at the Royal Queen
