About This Pub
So, I've been having a look at The Ridings Restaurant, and it's one of those places that just warms you up from the start – imagine tucking into delicious, locally grown produce in a serene setting that feels like a breath of fresh air. Folks rave about the food, especially the starters, which are packed with flavour and beautifully presented, and the overall vibe is so welcoming with staff who go the extra mile to make you feel right at home. It's got that homely touch with efficient service and a good selection of wines and specials that add a bit of excitement to your visit. On the flip side, though, the mains can be a tad skimpy on portions, so if you're after a really filling meal, you might want to plan for an extra course or two. All in all, with its excellent rating and those glowing reviews, it's a solid choice for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in the area – I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you're nearby and in the mood for something special.

Cons
-
The portion sizes on the mains can be a bit on the small side, which might leave you wanting more after those tasty starters.

It seems like they might not always have a dedicated wine pairing menu, so you could miss out on that extra guidance if you're not sure what to choose.

Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and steeped in nature. Rooms have everything required. Check in and out seamless. Staff efficient and welcoming. Good wine list and specials in restaurant. A special mention to the great care, attention to detail and respect given by Conor towards my daughter with special needs. Highly recommend.
We had a delicious lunch here, they try to use as much locally grown produce as possible and the taste + presentation is excellent. Starters were the highlight for me, the mains could be more generous in portion size. Would definitely revisit if in the area again.
My friend found this place almost by mistake. We remained very curios to see and find out what is it about. Turned out to have a delicious, very delicious lunch on a Sunday. My day was good so far, this place made it even better. The food is tasteful, every mouth brings you a reason of joy and smile. The staff is very professional. I felt very welcomed, important and comfortable. The atmosphere is worm, lovely music in the background. I will, deffentily, recommend this gourgeus place to anyone who would love to experience elegance, delicious, comfort and beauty in one place, just here in North London.
Grateful for the day. Thank you!
Brilliant food! Amazing team! A memorable experience.
The set menu offers variety of wonderful dishes, all locally sourced ingredients. The parsnip risotto was the most surprising dish of the menu.
Although there isn’t a wine pairing menu, Andrea will provide you with a great selection for wines!
You can also order a cake ahead of time, Tina was wonderful in arranging an unexpected birthday surprise.
Featuring own grown and reared produce, the setting was perfect and the food was breathtaking.
We booked to stay at The Birch for my partners birthday as well as our anniversary and we have not been disappointed. Everything has been spot on which is difficult enough when you have only been open a few weeks but drop the 'C word' in the mix and it makes this place even more impressive.
Back to The Zebra Riding Club - I'm not one for taster menus or fish but the other half really wanted to go and it was her birthday so.. the main fish dish was an additional extra if we wanted so I was happy to avoid the majority of fish. The limited amount in there I would have had no idea about had I not read the menu.
The service was incredible throughout and never left waiting at any stage. Extremely tentative and friendly without being overkill. Again, very difficult balance to get but nailed it here.
Every course was spot on and well worth the spend. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be back. My pictures don't do it all justice.
