About This Pub
Ah, the Red Lion Inn – it's one of those classic spots that really captures the essence of a good British pub, isn't it? From what I've gathered from chats with others who've been, it's got this cosy, friendly atmosphere that's just spot on for relaxing with a drink and some nosh. The staff are usually brilliant, always up for a chat and making sure you're looked after, which adds to that homely feel. Plus, the food menu has a nice range of options that cater to all sorts, and it's often praised for being tasty and good value – think hearty lunches that won't break the bank. But, let's be honest, it's not all perfect; a couple of folks mentioned the Sunday lunch coming across as a tad bland, and there might be times when the service starts off overly eager and then becomes a bit elusive when you need it. Still, with such a high rating overall, it's clear this place knows how to deliver a solid experience for most visits. If you're in the area, I'd say it's worth popping in for a try – just keep in mind it might not be the spot for a gourmet feast, but it's grand for a casual get-together.

I love this pub. Very cosy. Nice atmosphere. Food is pretty average (Sunday lunch was bland). Staff were nice but annoyingly attentive when we arrived (4 different staff asking for our drinks order in the first 5 mins), then difficult to communicate with once our initial order was taken and we wanted more drinks.
Always a warm welcome , staff so attentive, and food amazing.
Variety of choices to meet everyone's tastes and dietary needs. Highly recommend a visit
It Never disappoints and is a great place to have meals with partners, catch up with Friends and family.
Very nice Sunday lunch, The only issue was that I didn't like the mash, but overall I enjoyed it all, only would suggest adding or extras of chipolatas with Turkey dinner.
Called in for lunch with my 89 year old mother. I opted for the fish bites and chips in a basket. My mother had the scampi and chips. £9.99 each is great value and it was delicious. The staff were lovely and there was a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
6 of us went for Sunday lunch at the red lion, small mix up with table booking but this was sorted quite quickly. So it was 6 starters 6 main meals and 6 puddings. All of which came quite quickly and was absolutely delicious. Waiting staff were brilliant and friendly. We will definitely be back thank you
