About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about The Red Lion Inn – it's one of those hidden gems that you stumble upon and think, 'Why haven't I been here sooner?' From what folks are saying, the food is just brilliant; those Sunday roasts and hearty meals have people coming back for more, with plenty of praise for how tasty and well-prepared everything is. The staff really shine too, always on hand with a smile and that extra touch of care that makes you feel right at home. It's tucked away in a lovely, peaceful spot with outdoor areas that let you soak up the views, and there's a solid range of ales to enjoy in a cosy, traditional setting. On the flip side, it's wise to book ahead for a table since it gets busy, and the hours aren't as flexible as some places, so you might need to time your visit just right. All in all, it's a fantastic spot for a proper pub day out, but do keep those little niggles in mind to make the most of it – honest, it's worth the effort for that genuine, heartwarming experience.

Had Sunday dinner with family, one of the best I have had, food was excellent and staff attentive and friendly would definitely recommend
Stopped by for a quick drink and to check out the area. Lovely spot secluded from the outside world in a very quaint village. This 'blue badge' pub is steeped in history, comfortable and welcoming with outdoor seating to fully appreciate the beautiful surroundings.
Very picturesque location. The staff are very attentive and professional, food is fantastic and rooms are clean and comfortable. Cannot recommend enough. Have stayed 5 times and will go back again.
Nice traditional old pub. A good selection of ales and a food menu. My Sunday roast was top drawer. Well enjoyed.
Came across this great little pub while looking to visit locally. The staff and the locals were really friendly. A nice fire burning along with lovely food was a real bonus. Dog and horse friendly (no horses in the pub). Thoroughly recommend a visit.
