About This Pub
Ah, The Red Cow – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem, you know? From chatting with others who've been there, the staff really stand out; they're so welcoming and make every visit feel special, whether you're popping in for a quick drink or staying for the evening. There's always something going on, like spoken word nights, darts, or DJ sessions that turn into a lively weekend bash, and the beer garden is just the ticket for a relaxed afternoon when the sun's out. The beers are spot on too, and it's a great spot if you're into watching sports with mates. But, to keep it real, they've had to shut the kitchen on Sundays because of rising costs, so if food's on your mind, you'll need to plan ahead or head elsewhere that day. It can sometimes feel a bit subdued, depending on when you go, and those steps at the door might not be ideal for everyone. All in all, it's a solid choice for a laid-back night out – I'd say give it a try if you're in the area, as the positives definitely outweigh the niggles!

They've got a solid selection of beers and it's a brilliant place for catching up on sports or just having a good old weekend session.
Cons
-
They've had to close the kitchen on Sundays due to costs, which means no food options that day – a bit of a shame if you're after a proper meal.
-
It can be a tad quiet at times, so if you're looking for a buzzing crowd, you might want to check the timing.
-
There are a couple of steps at the entrance that you need to watch out for, which could be tricky for anyone with mobility issues.

Great place for spoken word poetry. Have pint, throw some darts, and smash some lit verses. What’s not to like?
It was quiet when I was there, but nice atmosphere and staff and locals were friendly. There are a couple of step downs on the way in that you should watch out for.
There's a big beer garden/ smoking area out the back.
Great local with good beer and darts on tap. Always good for a weekend session of sport rolling into DJ nights.
We were going to the airport when the train left us there. Imagine 500 people looking for a taxi, uber to take their flights. They helped us very much and thanks to them we were able to catch our flights. Great humanitarian people!. Greetings from Argentina
