About This Pub

Ah, Reyna Brasserie – what a lovely spot it is in Cheshunt for anyone craving a taste of the Mediterranean without straying too far from home. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food really steals the show; think fresh, flavoursome dishes that leave you satisfied and eager to try more, whether you're in for a hearty breakfast or a relaxed evening with cocktails. The staff are an absolute delight, always on hand with a smile and that extra touch of kindness that makes you feel right at home – like when they pull out all the stops for a birthday surprise. It's got this chic, inviting atmosphere that's perfect for catching up with mates or marking a special occasion, and the fact it's easy to get to with parking nearby is a real bonus. On the flip side, it can get a tad noisy on busier evenings, which might not suit if you're after a peaceful meal, and there've been a few quirky issues like unexpected smells or staff reactions that could put a slight dampener on things. All in all, with its solid 4.7 rating, it's a place I'd recommend giving a go – just pick your time wisely for the best experience, and you'll likely walk away as chuffed as the folks who've raved about it.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The food is absolutely spot on – fresh Mediterranean flavours that make you want to come back for more, whether it's for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even just a cheeky cocktail.
  • Service is top-notch; the staff are friendly, efficient, and go the extra mile, like surprising someone with a birthday treat that really makes the day special.
  • It's got a lively and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a casual get-together or celebrating an occasion, with a chic decor that adds to the vibe.
  • Convenient location in Cheshunt with nearby parking, making it easy to pop in without any hassle.
  • They've got a great variety on the menu, from starters to full meals, and it's open seven days a week with flexible hours, so you can fit it into your schedule.
Cons
  • It can get a bit noisy, especially on Saturday nights, which might make it tricky for a quiet chat over dinner.
  • There have been a few odd moments, like catching a whiff of cigarettes inside or staff seeming surprised by simple choices, which can throw off the experience slightly.
  • If you visit early or on a quieter day, the atmosphere might feel a tad subdued, so it's not always buzzing.
  • With its moderate prices, it might not be the cheapest option out there, so keep that in mind if you're on a tight budget.

Very good food and impeccable service, we didn't have to beg the waiters to be served and that surprised me a lot because it's hard to find a restaurant with such friendly and efficient staff, everyone was willing to serve us, the food really good, a little noisy because it's Saturday night and many people were celebrating birthdays, but I found the atmosphere to be upbeat, very cozy and with a lot of variety on the menu. Highly recommended

We went for a family breakfast this morning for my 4 year olds birthday and I had my teenage daughters with me. We were served by Yaren and they did the most amazing birthday surprise for my son! Not only did they play the “it’s my birthday” song, the brought my son a pancake with berry’s and cream, with a sparkler and they also let off a popper and confetti went everywhere. It was such a nice touch. The food was out of this world and my boy at the end said “this is the best birthday”. We will be back again very soon, thank you x

Reyna Brasserie offers an unforgettable dining experience with its fusion of Mediterranean flavors, vibrant ambiance, and impeccable service. From the moment you step in, the decor enchants you with its chic, modern design and warm, inviting atmosphere. The menu is thoughtfully curated, featuring a variety of flavorful dishes that cater to both adventurous and traditional palates. Every plate is a masterpiece—visually stunning and bursting with fresh, authentic ingredients. The lamb skewers were perfectly seasoned and tender, while the mezze platter was a delightful mix of textures and tastes. Their signature cocktails were equally impressive, beautifully crafted and refreshing. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring your dining experience is exceptional. Whether it's a casual meal, date night, or celebration, Reyna Brasserie is the perfect choice. Highly recommend trying their baklava dessert—it’s the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal! I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. 5/5 stars!

I tried this restaurant, having seen it a few times on my travels to post ny applications for the Krypton Factor. It was early and quiet when I entered, probably explaining the 3 stars for the atmosphere. The staff were all very polite and I couldn't fault the service. I had the Calamari for starters. Although very well presented, I felt that it could have been deep fried for a bit longer for a better crisp on the batter. Because of this, it felt soggy when I picked it up to dippy dip in the tartare sauce. I ordered the 10oz ribeye steak at £27.50 a portion. Although expensive, I have to say that it was the best tasting steak that I have had for many years. I even felt the need to compliment the chef toboot. Served with chips didn't work for me. They weren't nice chips anyway. Served with potatoes would have been better, in my opinion. The whole of the menu is overpriced, but that is the times that we suffer these days. My meal for two had 2 starters, 2 main courses. 2 pints of draught and a glass of wine. The cost was £101.00 inclusive of a service charge. Be careful. It seems that as of late, restaurants seem to automatically add a service charge of 10% to the bill. This charge seems to be voluntary in most cases, a liberty me thinks. Check your bill before you pay. A tip should always be up to the customers' will not enforced. A party of 2 gets served the same way as a party of 8, yet the 8 pay a higher service charge than the 2 because of a higher bill. Check your bill before you pay, folks... Just to add. I did not quibble the charge on this occasion because the service was exceptional. Parking around the area normally comes with a charge, but if eating there after 18:30, you can parke around the back in the Tesco parking bays for free.

October 2024 Called up on a Friday evening to see if we needed to book a table, they said no so we went there. Welcoming, gave us options for seating, not busy. Smelt cigarettes inside at one point for some reason. The waitress looked surprised that we didn't want starters, don't know why. When ordering the 2 chicken burgers, the waitress thought we wanted it from the kids menu, which wasn't even there and then apologized. Said No ice for 2 orange juice and only one of them came with ice but then we told them and they corrected it. No meze which we thought they brought after but it was just dry ice which we couldn't eat ! I think the chicken shish and blue sky cocktail was amazing although I didn't taste any alcohol in the cocktail. A bit expensive,4 meals and 4 drinks for £104. Service and atmosphere was good overall.
