About This Pub
Ah, The Rams Head in Grappenhall – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem, you know? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the beer garden is a real standout, ideal for a chilled-out pint or a bite with friends on a nice day. The staff are spot on too, always ready with a smile and quick service that makes the place feel warm and inviting. Throw in some cracking quiz nights on Thursdays and a menu that's generally full of winners, and you've got yourself a solid evening sorted. But, to keep it real, it's not all perfect – I did come across a mention of the fish and chips being a tad underwhelming for the price, with portions that left someone still peckish. Still, with its quirky touches and handy parking, it's a place I'd happily recommend for a good laugh and a drink, as long as you keep expectations in check for the food.
Pros and Cons

-
Delicious food and a solid selection of drinks that keep everyone coming back for more.

Fun events like Thursday quiz nights that add a bit of excitement and bring people together.
-
A quirky atmosphere with unique features like a well in the middle, giving it that charming, old-school pub vibe.

Some dishes can be a bit disappointing, like the fish and chips that one person found skimpy and not worth the £16 price tag.

Portions might leave you wanting more, as it's easy to still feel hungry after certain meals.

The Rams Head is our go-to local pub, and for good reason! The drinks are always top-notch, the service is friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious.
One of the highlights is Thursday quiz evenings - it's a great night out with friends and family. They also offer fantastic holiday menus that really get into the spirit of the season.
We can't fault The Rams Head at all - it's the perfect local pub. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff always make us feel at home.

Great food. Nice garden at the front and rear, loads of good sized car parking at the rear too.
A great welcome from Jason here at The Rams Head,
I came on Monday... To inspect the for fighting equipment
This is the first time I've been here, this is an idyllic and really beautiful pub with some great looking food coming from the kitchen.
Jason was a great host as I completed my work.
Photos show this place is very clean and comfortable with many tables..
outside patio and booths for those warmer days... It's a perfect secluded retreat.
Thank you to Jason and the team for looking after me... 👍🙂
The venue looks lovely, but the food is disappointing. £16 for lunch time fish and chips. Where is the fish? And French fries as chips?! Still hungry after this meal
