About This Pub
Ah, The Queens Head – what a gem of a spot in Bromsgrove! From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, this place really shines with its fantastic service; the staff go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly, even when it's packed to the rafters. The food is another highlight – think mouth-watering pizzas and a solid Christmas menu that folks are still talking about. Plus, sitting by the canal with a drink in hand, especially if you've got a furry friend along, just adds to that cosy, feel-good atmosphere. It's got beautiful decor that makes the whole place feel welcoming, and little perks like smaller plate options show they're thinking of everyone. On the flip side, it does get mobbed sometimes, so you might end up queueing a bit, and the prices are on the moderate side, which could add up if you're out for a big group do. Oh, and their website's a bit of a letdown – it didn't load properly for me, so you'd be better off giving them a ring or dropping by to check things out. All in all, it's a solid choice for a great night out, and I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're after a proper pub experience with a personal touch.

We dined here on a Friday night and it was really busy with a lovely vibe. The best service I have had at a restaurant for a very long time. The staff were attentive and helpful. Nothing was forgotten. Food and drinks served in good time despite large parties of people also in attendance. All the waiters seemed to work seamlessly with each other to ensure everyone was well cared for. Food was good too! Overall we loved it and already have plans to go back.
A lovely visit for my birthday today. Great food, beautiful decor and a wonderful atmosphere. Really appreciated the option of a "small" plate meal. Great for people who can't eat big meals, not many places offer this option so I was really happy to be able to have a smaller serving. Well worth a visit, and so beautiful by the canal on a sunny day.
Love the stone baked pizzas! There are plenty of different toppings to choose from. The service is always great and so is the atmosphere. We enjoy sitting in the marquee by the canal as we like to bring our dog, it’s a really cosy experience. Would highly recommend!
We found ourselves here following a visit to the Jinney Ring Centre. To be honest we would have ate there however they have now adopted a No Dogs Allowed policy.
A Google search, a quick call and we were here in 10 minutes.
It was a good 'shout', all the better as we had no idea of what we were about to find. The car park and bridge approach to the place is unusual, there is a small car park adjacent to the entrance but you would be lucky to get on it.
Mid afternoon on a Sunday and it was rammed which is always a good sign.
It's a very nicely presented place, trendy with a good atmosphere but for me the staff were exceptional. They bent over backwards to find us a seat with the dog, and we're genuinely friendly and attentive throughout.
We really enjoyed our meals, the wife having a Sunday lunch and me unusually opting for a burger. She was more than happy, and I enjoyed mine but I would have liked a few more 'frills' e.g., an onion ring or the option of sweet potato chips.
Too full for a dessert.
Service charge is added to the bill which I was more than happy to pay.
Super location and lovely place. Great service and some wonderful food. Really nice Christmas Menu and great dishes, absolutely worth a visit. Exceptional service and really attentive staff.
