I went to two pubs by my hotel to see which one I liked more. First, I had planned to eat here but the menu did not have what I had selected online so be prepared for a different menu. Second, it is a little bit unclear where to go (restaurant or pub area—what’s the difference?) but an employee saw my confusion and kindly explained things.
Inside and outside is a blend of more modern and older.
Another fantastic meal & evening at The Pheasant on May 31st.
I brought a group of friends with me to experience somewhere I've been coming to for years.
Westley and the team are always welcoming and friendly and can not do enough for you.
The food is always fresh, tasty, and plentiful.
I cannot recommend The Pheasant highly enough for anyone staying over at Heathrow or, as regularly do, travel many miles to always enjoy a great experience.
The Pheasants Inn is a lovely and lively spot located just about 300 meters down the lane between Hotel Radisson Blu Heathrow and Hotel Marriott Heathrow—making it a great stop if you’re staying nearby or have time to kill before a flight.
What stood out the most was the friendly and helpful staff and lively music which made the experience even more pleasant. The food was great—especially the curly potatoes and the stir-fried garlic and chilli king prawns, which were absolutely delicious. They also have a good variety of tap beers and drinks to choose from.
Just a heads-up: the kitchen closes at 10 PM, so plan your visit accordingly.
Overall, a great little place with good vibes, tasty food, and excellent service. Would definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.
Fantastic quality food and great portions at a reasonable price.
Our table had the cheese & bacon burger, pie and shepherd's pie. Not one of us had a single thing to complain about, everything was outstanding.
The starter, cheese and bacon potato skins starter was much larger than expected, practically a whole baked potato. So unless you've got the appetite, maybe stick to a main and dessert.
The staff were all super friendly, attentive, and took care in ensuring you had everything you needed. The restaurant itself was clean and well looked after with a quirky layout comparable to the 'relativity' stairs painting.
If you're in the area, I 100% recommend a visit.
The Pheasant Inn & Restaurant Heathrow is an exceptional spot I highly recommend. It's situated conveniently near London Heathrow Airport and close to the hotel where I stayed, making it a perfect choice for travelers. This pub offers an authentic British experience, blending cozy charm with a welcoming atmosphere. The environment is fantastic, with a vibe that feels traditional and comfortable.
One of the standout aspects is the service. The staff here is fantastic—friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making your visit enjoyable. The food is another highlight, offering hearty portions of traditional British dishes at an affordable price. It’s not an expensive place, which is excellent considering the quality and portion sizes you get. The menu caters to all tastes, from their famous fish and chips to savory pies and steaks. Plus, the extensive drink selection adds to the overall experience.
Being so close to the airport, it’s a convenient and delightful stop for travelers. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing meal or a great pub experience, The Pheasant Inn delivers. It’s a place I’ll visit again when I’m in the area. Thank you for taking the time to check out this recommendation!
