About This Pub
Ah, The Old Priory – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Dudley, you know? From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this warm, inviting atmosphere where the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and the beer is always a solid choice at prices that won't leave you shocked. The karaoke nights sound like an absolute riot, perfect for letting your hair down with friends after a bit of shopping in town. That traditional coal fire adds such a nice, cosy touch, especially on darker evenings. On the flip side, though, a couple of recent chats from visitors weren't quite as enthusiastic, giving it just three stars, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea all the time. They mentioned wanting more variety in the ales, and there's a whisper about possible changes with new owners, which could shake things up. Still, with an overall rating of 4.3, I'd say it's worth popping in for a pint – just keep your expectations balanced and you'll likely have a cracking time!

Cons
-
Some recent reviews have been a bit lukewarm, suggesting it might not always hit the mark for everyone.
-
A few folks mentioned they'd love to see more traditional ales on offer, as the selection could do with a bit more variety.
-
There are hints of potential changes, like new owners, which might affect the consistency of the experience.
-
Not much talk about the food, and some visits were late without trying it, so it could be hit or miss if you're after a proper meal.

Had a great Saturday evening here. The karaoke was brilliant and the beer and wine good and very reasonable price. Overall a really good fun night out.
Fantastic staff sad to see it’s the final night come up from Warrington and currently in this pub and it’s amazing entertainment is great and place is class when it’s taken over with new owners hopefully you can come here and review it with new owners. Food is fantastic and drinks are great prices are so good
We had a great visit, staff were really friendly and helpful. Nice 'feel' to the pub lovely coal fire adds atmosphere. Cheap booze as was the food. More traditional ales would have been nice but, definitely recommend a visit.
