About This Pub

Oh, what a treat The Old Post Office Ale House is – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot for a proper, no-fuss evening out. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, they've nailed the beer selection with a brilliant variety of real ales, lagers, and ciders, all at prices that won't break the bank. The staff are an absolute delight, always ready with a smile and a chat, which really makes the place feel welcoming and alive. It's got that classic, cosy vibe with some gentle music in the background, making it perfect for settling in with mates or even bringing along the dog for a pint and a pat. And let's not forget the loyalty system – it's a clever little perk that encourages you to come back for more. On the flip side, though, there's no parking on site, so you might end up trekking from a nearby spot, and with doors opening around lunchtime, it could feel a tad late for some. All things considered, it's a solid choice if you're in Rochdale and after a genuine pub experience – I'd say give it a go and see for yourself!

Great craft beer bar. Nicely decorated high street bar serving well kept and reasonably priced real ales and ciders. Really worth a visit if you are in the area - handy for the railway station and on a good Manchester bus route. And given there is stuff all else of note locally, you'll have plenty of of time to stay and have a few more beers....

Great atmosphere, everyone is friendly in there, especially the dog that was wandering around. Brilliant staff. They also have a loyalty system that gets you free drinks. Lovely little place. No parking, so park at the co-op nearby or an alternative.
