About This Pub
Ah, The Commercial in Rochdale – what a gem for anyone after a proper pub experience without all the fuss. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got that classic old-style charm with darts, pool, and screens for the footie, which really makes it a go-to spot if you're up for some casual fun. The staff are absolute legends, always up for a chat, and the locals add to that homely feel, like you're just popping round to a mate's for a pint. They've nailed the beer selection too, with cask ales and the odd special offer that sweetens the deal during big games. Weekends are lively with live music, a DJ spinning tunes, and karaoke if you're feeling bold – and it's great that it's family-friendly, so you can bring the kids along for a bit of everything. On the flip side, the opening times look a bit confusing at first glance, and without a website, it's not the easiest to plan ahead. Still, with such positive buzz from folks who've been there, I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in the area – just keep an eye on those hours to avoid any disappointment. All in all, it's a welcoming spot that does the simple things right, making it a reliable choice for a relaxed night out.

-

-
They've got a cracking selection of beers, including cask ales, and there are often special deals on drinks, especially during matches.
-
It's buzzing with entertainment like live music, a DJ, and karaoke on Sundays, plus it's family-friendly with activities for all ages.
Cons
-
The operating hours seem a bit muddled from the info available, which might leave you scratching your head about when it's actually open.
-
There's no website to check out more details or menus in advance, so you might have to pop in or call to get the full picture.
-
As a local favourite, it might feel a tad quiet or less vibrant on off-peak days, depending on what's on.

A nice little pub with various entertainment and events for kids too. Football fans welcome, with special prices on beer during certain matches, and the landlord and landlady are wonderful, friendly people.
It has quite a few locals who are all quite friendly and happy to chat and have a laugh with others.
