About This Pub
Ah, The Old Crown in Hayes—it's one of those classic pubs that really captures the heart of a local spot, you know? I have to say, what stands out most is how friendly everything feels; the staff are always up for a chat, and it's just the right kind of cozy for sinking into a good conversation or catching the latest match on the telly. The drinks deals are spot on too—great value for a refreshing pint or whatever takes your fancy, which makes it an easy choice for a budget-friendly night out. On the flip side, though, I've heard a couple of tales about the odd hiccup with service, like not being made to feel welcome at times, which is a shame because it could put a damper on things. And while it's handy being so close to the station, the lack of food options might mean you have to plan ahead if you're peckish. Overall, it's a solid pick for a relaxed evening, but it's worth going in with realistic expectations to enjoy what it does best.

Traditional, neighborhood pub. Very friendly patrons and cheap, good beer & cider. What's not to like?
Door staff lie to you backed up by management. Told at 9pm lines are been cleaned and last orders gone as staff carried pulling pints. I guess we just weren't welcome, sent on our way as police turned up. A joke for a young couple willing to put money behind a local bar on our travels
Pub is conveniently next to the train station. A starting point for buying cheap drinks before venturing into London.
The first bar that I went after moving to this country. It’s warm, cozy and staff are friendly. Drinks are reasonably priced. A lot of people who visit there seems regular and now that I stay in the same locality I’m a regular too. It’s just they don’t serve food but you can bring your food and eat here. The decor is nice, English, old world charm and the location is good. It’s safe and the staff ensure that regulars are not disturbed by miscreants.
My brother made a Shirt Trip to England and we went here last friday morning and again in the evening. The old crown is a very nice, cozy little pub with fantastic prices. Also, the people here are super nice and welcoming. If you are in Harrow, come here for a good pint of beer. Cheers, and best greetings from the two german guys.
