About This Pub
You know, chatting about The Oast House feels like sharing a pint with mates – it's got this lively charm in the middle of Manchester that really draws you in. The food is a standout, with so many people going on about how delicious it is, and the live music every day adds that extra spark to make any visit memorable, rain or shine. I love that it's dog-friendly too; it's just one of those places where you can relax on the terrace with a cold one and feel right at home. On the flip side, I've heard a few tales of management not handling things as smoothly as they could with the staff, which can throw off the atmosphere a bit and leave you feeling a tad uncomfortable. Plus, the drinks prices are a bit eye-watering for what you get, so it might not be the best for a budget night out. All in all, it's a solid choice if you're after a proper pub experience with great grub and entertainment, but keep those little niggles in mind to set your expectations straight.

Cons
-
There have been moments where management has been a bit harsh with the team, which can put a damper on the overall experience and spoil the mood.
-
Drink prices are on the steeper side for the city centre, like £7 for a cider or £6 for a pint, which might make you think twice before ordering another round.

Went with a friend the other week and i would recommend the food as it was amazing. However the atmosphere was completely ruined as we overheard a server be dug into by someone i am guessing was management. The way that manager talked to that young man was awful and even after that he came to our table and gave the best service i have received in the city centre for a while. I can appreciate tough love but for that poor server to be dug into so loudly is just awful. Do better!!
Had beautiful time with friend there. The food was amazing, staff friendly. Will be back there soon !
The best place in Manchester for me to go out late. If the weather is nice and sunny, it is very enjoyable. There is live music. Entry is free. In the winter, it is very special and warm. I always like to go there, summer and winter.
Lovely spot, plenty of seating! But £7 for a bottle of cider. £6 for a pint, but I guess that’s standard in the city centre nowadays.
Good bier good food on a sunny Sunday... What else... Love it!
