About This Pub
Ah, The New Inn – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem, you know? From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this inviting atmosphere that's full of character, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home and get your drinks out in no time. The prices are spot on for a casual night, and the live bands on weekends really liven things up – imagine belting out a tune with your mates over a pint. Plus, there's a smashing beer garden for when the weather's on your side, and that pool table is a winner for a bit of friendly competition. On the flip side, it does seem like there might be some uncertainty with the place potentially changing hands, which could mean things aren't as reliable as they could be. And without a website or easy way to contact them, it's a tad frustrating if you're trying to plan ahead. Overall, it's worth popping in for a laugh, but maybe keep an eye out for any updates to make sure it's still firing on all cylinders.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The atmosphere is absolutely spot on – it's warm, welcoming, and has that classic old-school pub feel that makes you want to stay for another round.
-
Staff are super friendly and quick with service, which really makes for a pleasant visit every time.
-
Prices are reasonable and drinks are cheap, so it's easy on the wallet for a night out.
-
They've got live bands on the weekends, which adds a brilliant buzz and turns it into a proper lively spot.
-
There's a great beer garden that's perfect for sunnier days, and an excellent pool table in a separate room for some fun games with mates.
Cons
-
The pub's operating status seems a bit unclear right now, with mentions of it going under new management, so it might not be as stable as we'd hope.
-
No website or phone number listed makes it tricky to check what's on or get in touch if you need to.
-
While the reviews are mostly glowing, there aren't many recent ones, so it's hard to get the full picture of how things are going lately.

Friendly pub beer garden ready for summer . The New Inn is not closing but going under new management
First ever visit, to watch my mate's band.
Great place. Cheep drinks. An excellent pool table, in a separate room.
What a very nice and spacious pub this is. It’s very nice and still has the old feel to it that I always respect in older boozers.
