About This Pub

Oh, let me tell you about The New Brew’m Pub; it's one of those places that just hits the spot for a proper pint. I love how Sharon makes everything feel so personal – she's spot on with her service, chatting away and making sure you're looked after, which really adds to the charm. The real ales are something special, utterly quaffable and at a price that won't break the bank, making it ideal for a casual get-together or even a pre-match stop. It's got that lively buzz without being overwhelming, and the little touches, like being dog-friendly, make it even more appealing. That said, it's not without its quirks; with just five days open a week and varying hours, you might have to plan ahead, and as it's a small spot, it can fill up quickly on popular nights. All in all, it's a brilliant little hideaway that's worth seeking out if you're in the area, but do keep those opening times in mind to avoid any disappointment.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The real ales are absolutely top-notch – clear, quaffable, and at a cracking price like £2.50 a pint, making it a real treat for ale enthusiasts.
  • Sharon, the owner, is brilliant and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome, remembering faces and creating that cosy, community vibe.
  • The service is fast and efficient, even when things get lively, so you won't be left waiting for your drink.
  • It's a welcoming spot with a lively atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed catch-up or a quick stop before an event, and it's even dog-friendly with little extras like a hen's foot for furry friends.
Cons
  • It's only open five days a week, which might not suit if you're after a midweek pint or fancy popping in on a quiet Sunday.
  • With no website listed, it's a bit of a faff to check the exact hours, so you might need to give them a ring or just turn up and hope.
  • As a micro pub, it can get quite packed at times, especially during busy periods, so space might be at a premium if you're after a seat.

A great 5 star little pub. The service is second to non, even when packed out. The lady behind the bar does a tremendous job ,even when there's a lot to serve , she gets the customers served without any problems. " Not like the weatherspoons, where the staff behind the bar are running round like headless chickens The New Brew as a great crowd of people, what use this establishment . To me , this is the Best Bar in Burnley... Happy Xmas to all the Staff not forgetting the Great customers 👍 From the guy with the Tartan Bennie.
