About This Pub
Ah, The Moorings at Myton – it's one of those pubs that just draws you in with its charm, especially if you're in Leamington Spa and fancy a spot by the canal. I have to say, the food is a real highlight; think juicy steaks cooked just how you like them, or a surprisingly good curry that goes way beyond what you'd expect from a typical pub menu. They've got all sorts of tempting specials too, like that free bottle of wine if you grab two steaks on a Saturday – it's little touches like that which make it feel special. The staff are genuinely lovely, always up for a chat and making sure everything's just right. And if you're out for a walk with the dog, it's brilliant that they welcome them in the bar and garden areas. On the other hand, it's not all perfect; I've heard it can look a bit untidy at times, and when it gets busy, you might end up waiting longer than you'd like for your meal, which takes the edge off the experience. Prices are a step up from your average local, so it's worth keeping that in mind if you're watching the pennies. All in all, it's a solid choice for a get-together with mates – the good bits far outweigh the niggles, and I'd definitely pop back for another go.

The service and the food was amazing. The staff were really attentive. Proper steaks cooked as requested and the added bonus on Saturday nights if you buy 2 steaks you get a free bottle of wine. Really impressed with the portion sizes and the half roast chicken was a proper half size so much so that my son couldn't finish. highly recommend a place to eat
The photos and website suggests so much more. A quay side location, with calm and beautiful surroundings.
This may have been the truth at some point. Yesterday it was dirty, cheerless and dreary. Even 26c sunny weather didn't help.
The canal was dirty and the bridge was covered with graffiti, the road noise was oppressive and the clientele were young drinkers. Two of the draft beers were off and the lager selection was reduced.
A great place for a younger crowd, but not a location for calm reflection.
Leave it for those wanting to party not relax.
Free mooring for our narrowboat was a big plus. Very friendly place with a nice relaxed vibe. We enjoyed a surprisingly good curry - far better than one would expect in a pub. Decor and seating was good. Staff couldn't do enough for customers. I hope to visit again and would reccomend people to go a little out of their way to find it.
Very nice and beautiful pub next to the canal. Great friendly service and food. Could be long wait though when it gets busy.
Nicely renovated pub with some interesting meal options. A good location with comfortable seating and views of the canal. Slightly higher prices, but the the crab/crayfish spaghetti was tasty and my wife enjoyed the mushroom wellington. The two front of house seemed a little stretched on a Saturday night.
