About This Pub
Ah, The Milbourne Arms, what a cracking little spot it is – I've got to say, it's one of those pubs that just makes you feel right at ease from the moment you walk in. The food really steals the show; whether it's a perfectly cooked Sunday roast with tender meat and a heap of veg, or a steak sandwich that's spot on medium rare, everything's homemade and packed with flavour, leaving you satisfied without breaking the bank. The team behind the bar are an absolute delight, always up for a chat and quick to sort you out, which adds to that homely feel, especially if you're there for a special occasion or just catching up with friends. It's got this great community vibe too, with events that bring people together and plenty of spaces to choose from, like the front garden for a sunny pint or the sports bar for when it's chilly. On the flip side, though, if you're bringing your dog along, the designated area might not have quite the same lively atmosphere as the rest of the pub, and the operating hours can be a bit confusing at times, so you'd want to confirm before heading out. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone after a proper pub experience – the highs definitely outweigh the lows, and I'd reckon it's worth a visit for a taste of that warm, welcoming North East charm.

Delicious Sunday lunch with plenty on the plate. We were up from Sheffield for rugby and were made to feel welcome. The cooking is homemade and had a nice variety of veg to accompany. The pub is well furnished and full of locals so clearly consistently good!
Popped in for a quick bite, been for drinks in the past 1st time for food.
Lovely steak sandwich. Cooked medium rare, (perfect), very tender and nicely presented. Also ordered ‘Greggs’ chicken stottie it was so filling full of chicken and came with gravy on the side…… Great to have a ‘real stottie’. Both served with chips. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Good value for the food quality and quantity. Will certainty return soon.
A great Sunday roast, already looking forward to returning. We turned up and didn’t have a booking but the staff and chef kindly allowed us in to have food. The service was incredible as well as the food. The meat was lovely and tender. Would definitely recommend for a roast.
Nice village pub serving exquisite home made food, undoubtedly one of the best lasagnes I’ve ever had. Staff were super friendly and efficient helping to make my girlfriend’s 21st birthday meal a success. Only let down by the dog friendly part of the venue being a completely seperate less atmospheric outbuilding dominated by sport on tv and commentary
The first time I've eaten here. It certainly won't be the last. My friend and myself were welcomed warmly by a lovely waitress. She took our drinks order, our dinner order. I had the belly pork, cooked perfectly. My friend had the steak and mushroom pie with handcut skin on fries . Both portions were extremely generous. The food was hot and flavourful . A 5* experience. We were very impressed
