About This Pub
Ah, The Leicester Arms – it's one of those pubs that really knows how to make you feel at home in Luton. From what I've gathered from the buzz around, the food is a real highlight; people rave about the steaks cooked just right, those mouth-watering burgers, and fish and chips that's miles better than your average chippy. It's all fresh, with plenty of options for veggies and vegans, and at prices that won't leave you stunned. The staff? They're gems, always on point with service that's friendly and efficient, whether you're stopping by for a quick pint or a full meal. It's got that classic pub atmosphere too, with space to relax, catch the game on the telly, or have a game of pool, and it's spotlessly clean, which is always a plus. On the flip side, though, parking's a bit of a sticky point – a few have mentioned getting caught out with fines because the signs aren't the easiest to see, especially after dark, so it's worth double-checking before you head in. Overall, with a solid 3.8 rating from loads of folks, it's a place I'd recommend for a good night out, as long as you're prepared for the little niggles. It's all about that community spirit and value for money that keeps drawing people back.
Pros and Cons
Pros

The food is absolutely spot on – think perfectly cooked steaks, crispy fish and chips, and those sizzling skillets that make you feel like you've hit the jackpot without breaking the bank.
-
The staff are an absolute delight; friendly, attentive, and always up for a chat, making every visit feel like catching up with old mates.
-
It's got a proper pub vibe with plenty of space, TVs for watching the match, and even a pool table, so there's always something to keep the fun going.
-
Prices are honest and fair, with great value deals that make it easy to pop in for a bite without worrying about the wallet.
-
They're really involved in the local community, supporting charities and offering their function area for free – it's nice to see a pub giving back.
Cons
-
Parking can be a bit of a nightmare; some folks have ended up with hefty fines because the signs aren't always easy to spot, especially at night.
-
With an overall rating of 3.8, it's clear there are a few off days, though most recent feedback is positive, so it might just be the odd slip-up.

Excellent pub with excellent service. Good range of beers. Food is very good. Plenty of space plus TVs for sports and a pool table. Toilets were clean and well maintained. Car park at side requires patrons to record number plate in pub. Very close to M1 if stopping for a meal. Staff are brilliant.
Being a long distance coach driver. This is by far is my go to. Affordable quality food. And the staff are brilliant and friendly. Will definitely be back
wasnt goin to leave a review but then read someone elses.... ive had same complaint re parking and i now have £170 debt cause of it. i went into pub twice to explain and was reassured it would be sorted. and it wasnt hence a £170 fine now. there maybe signs in car park but its pitch black and you cant read them. when i went back in after getting the 1st fine i was told there is a sign on each table. i pointed to table we had sat at.. no sign. staff member said "ohh that ones been pinched" i have been in 3 times to try and sort it but to no joy.... so be warned....put your reg number in or you'll be £170 short.
I’ve had fish and chips here countless times and I think it might be better than many fish and chips shop. Not once has the fish been oily. Perfectly deep fried and crispy on the outside and perfectly tender and moist on the inside.
I’ve also had the Cluckin hot stack numerous times and it’s worth the money you pay for.
The staff are always friendly and the service is good too.
