About This Pub

Ah, The Lamb & Flag in Worcester – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local haunt, you know? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, folks absolutely love the cosy inside setup and that beer garden, which is spot-on for a sunny afternoon. The live music on the weekends really brings the place to life, making it a fantastic spot if you're up for some good tunes and a chat. Service-wise, it's all about that friendly touch that makes you want to linger a bit longer. And let's not forget the food – especially those vegan options upstairs, which sound like a real treat, even for those who aren't strictly plant-based. On the flip side, it's worth mentioning that there might be the odd issue, like the bar not always being able to whip up cocktails if something's playing up, so if you're set on a fancy drink, it could be a minor letdown. Overall, though, it's a solid choice for a night out; the high ratings speak for themselves, and I'd say it's well worth popping in for the atmosphere alone – just go with an open mind and you'll likely have a cracking time.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The atmosphere is absolutely lovely and cosy, making it a perfect spot for catching up with mates over a pint.
  • Friendly service that really makes you feel welcome, like you're chatting with old friends behind the bar.
  • Live music on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays adds a brilliant vibe – it's just the thing for a lively night out.
  • A cracking beer garden for when the weather's nice, ideal for enjoying a drink outdoors.
  • The food options are top-notch, especially the vegan dishes upstairs, which even non-vegans rave about.
Cons
  • There can be occasional hiccups with the bar, like when the ice machine is out of action, limiting cocktail choices.
  • It might not have the widest selection of drinks if you're after something fancy beyond the usual pub fare.

Lovely pub in Worcester. The weather was lovely so we sat outside in the beer garden. We didn't eat here but had a couple of drinks. Really friendly service and the pub is lovely and cosy on the inside. A nice pint and a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely return here on our next visit to Worcester.

It was very delicious considering I'm not a Vegan, but can definitely appreciate a good meal. For some reason I assumed the prawn linguine would include more greenery, but it was literally prawn linguine, that's my bad. Over all though, a great little spot, thriving location, woukd totally go again! I would like to cheekily suggest that we salmon skewers were also made as a Main Meal, as they were to DIE for.

Pub was very nice, but we were there for the restaurant upstairs at Reishi Plant Kitchen. Wow. The food was incredible. Being vegetarians normally means something of the short end of the stick when it comes to menus. Definitely not here - all the options looked fantastic, and what we had was outstanding. As was the service, the atmosphere, the buzz. Brilliant stuff.

Tried the vegan restaurant upstairs Resishi, I'm not vegan but I was stunned by how good the food was. The staff were absolute stars also, we had such a wonderful evening. The only down side was the bar staff downstairs refusing to make cocktails saying the ice machine was broken. But I ordered 4 different fruit juices and some rum to make a rum punch, which wasn't hard to do. Every time I visit the down stairs pub thru are moody so I don't get surprised, a stark contrast to the vibe upstairs! I will deffo visit again for the food! Maybe upstairs should train the downstairs guys on customer service lol cannot praise the restaurant enough, sooooo good!
