About This Pub
Ah, The Dragon Inn, what a lovely spot it is – I've got to say, it's one of those places that just feels like a proper pub should, with its award-winning beers from Church End Brewery taking centre stage. Folks rave about the selection, especially their golden ales that have scooped up prizes, and the staff are spot on, always ready with a smile and a bit of chat about the brews. The beer garden is brilliant when the sun's out, making it ideal for catching up with mates, and those cosy fires in winter give it a real homely feel. On the flip side, if you're set on something like Bass, you might be out of luck, and the varying opening hours can throw a spanner in the works for spontaneous visits. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed night out, offering great value with simple grub like filled rolls, but it's best if you're in the mood for what they do best – those fantastic cask ales. I'd pop in if you're nearby; it's got that genuine, unpretentious charm that'll leave you wanting to return.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The Dragon Inn boasts a fantastic selection of Church End Brewery beers, including award-winners like Fallen Angel, which really hit the spot for ale enthusiasts.
-
It's got such a welcoming atmosphere with friendly and knowledgeable staff who make you feel right at home, like chatting with old mates over a pint.
-
The beer garden is an absolute gem on sunny days, perfect for enjoying a few drinks with friends in a lovely outdoor setting.
-
In the colder months, the cosy fires add a warm, inviting touch that makes it a go-to spot for a relaxing evening.
-
You get great value for money with tasty options like filled rolls, making it a solid choice for a casual bite alongside your drinks.
Cons
-
It might disappoint if you're after specific beers like Bass, as it's not always on tap, so options can feel a bit limited at times.
-
The opening times vary throughout the week, which could be a bit confusing if you're planning a visit and want to be sure it's open.
-
While it's generally buzzing, the pub's connection to the brewery means the focus is heavily on their own ales, so if you're after a wider variety of drinks, it might not quite hit the mark.

Nice old school Pub with a nice garden area.
Not currently serving ‘Bass Beer’
A fantastic pub with a good array of there own , church end beers and a few guest ales that change regularly. Lovely warm fires in the winter and possibly one of the best beer gardens for when the sun is shining.
Helpful friendly knowledgeable staff and landlord.
The pub I like to call my local .
This is a fantastic pub in Worcester with a really good selection of beers on tap and friendly staff. The garden outside is a great sun trap on a sunny evening to enjoy a few drinks with friends.
Would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.
What a great find. Brilliant Church End Brewery beers. Excellent value and tasty filled rolls. Cosy fire. Will definitely be back.
First class old style pub with an amazing range of Church End Brewery cask ales. Got the ubiquitous value for money baps on sale on the bar. Day time opening times varies throughout the week.
