About This Pub

Ah, The Lamb & Flag – it's one of those classic pubs that really captures the heart of a community in Nuneaton. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff are an absolute delight; they're kind, chatty, and go out of their way to make sure everyone feels welcome, which is just what you want after a long week. The outdoor garden is a real highlight too – imagine settling in with a cold pint on a sunny afternoon, soaking up the fresh air. And the overall atmosphere seems buzzing, with plenty of locals popping in for a good time, making it feel like a proper thriving spot. But, let's be honest, it's not all roses. There have been a few mentions of motorbikes kicking up a fuss outside, which can shatter the calm when you're trying to relax. Plus, some folks have talked about kids running wild and even scarier stuff like arguments breaking out, with no CCTV around to keep things in check. That said, with a solid 4.4 rating, it's clear most people have a great time, so if you're heading out with a group of mates, it could be a winner – just keep an eye out and choose your visits wisely for a balanced night out.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
  • It's got a lovely outdoor garden area, perfect for enjoying a pint in the sunshine on a nice day.
  • The atmosphere is buzzing and lively, with a real sense of community that makes it a great spot for a proper local pub experience.
Cons
  • There can be disturbances from motorbikes revving up outside, which might disrupt that peaceful pint you're after.
  • Some reports of rowdy behaviour, like kids causing chaos, could put a damper on things.
  • Safety-wise, there are concerns about fights and a lack of CCTV, so it's not ideal if you're popping in on your own.

Has a decent front and garden to sit in sun for a beer. Shame you get middle aged men with motorbikes pulling up to their mates and revving their bike engines when you're having that quiet pint in the sun. Kids running riot in back garden, lobbing stones and cans over the glass panelling while parents getting steaming. Could be a really decent pub but I guess if you need the pounds you can't turn away the riff raff.
