About This Pub
Ah, The Kettle Cafe & Bar – it's one of those unassuming places in Darwen that really warms the cockles with its top-notch food and friendly vibe. From what I've gathered from the reviews, most people are over the moon about the meals; think hearty breakfasts and scrumptious pies that leave you wanting more, all at prices that won't sting your wallet. The atmosphere sounds just right for a laid-back chat with mates, and the team behind the counter clearly go the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome. On the flip side, it's a shame about the coffee – one person had a rough go with it being weak and hotter than a summer's day, so you might want to skip that and stick to the food if you're fussy. All in all, with such a strong rating overall, it's well worth popping in if you're nearby, just keep an eye on those opening times to avoid disappointment. What do you reckon, shall we give it a try sometime?

I ordered 2 coffees to take away, an Americano and a flat white.. my Americano was hotter than the surface of the sun, and was very weak, a refuge bin enjoyed it, as l certainly didn't. My girlfriend had the Flat white which wasn't, it was more like a Latte, and she also said it was weak. Hers also ended up in a bin a bit further down the road. A total waste of £6.60..
The first time we visited. Absolutely gorgeous, I had plate meat pie, absolutely scrumptious,my partner had English breakfast, he loved it, loved the atmosphere, ,the owners are so friendly, can’t wait to go back xx
Nice small place, and very nice food. Lovely staff !
Best breakfast I have ever had! Service was amazing, the cafe had a cute atmosphere, prices were amazing and food was delicious 😋
Excellent! If I could give more stars I would it was so good. We both had the breakfast. Superb quality ingredients none of the cheap catering sausage and bacon here. Glad I don't live in Darwen as I would be here every day.
