About This Pub
Ah, The Jubilee Inn – it's one of those classic pubs in Litherland that just feels like a proper local haunt, you know? From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this warm, historical feel with comfy decor and a big outdoor area that's spot on for catching up with mates on a sunny afternoon. The staff really shine through as the heart of the place; they're fab and make everything more enjoyable, whether you're popping in for a pint or tucking into some reasonably priced pub grub that's hearty and satisfying. But, let's be straight, it's not all roses – some folks have mentioned waiting ages for their food, and there were times when they weren't clued in about things like ingredient shortages, which could throw a spanner in the works for your meal plans. Still, with an overall rating of 3.8, it's clear the good bits outweigh the niggles for most, and I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in the area, especially if you fancy a spot with a bit of character and friendly faces. Just maybe keep an eye on the time if you're hungry!
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
-
The food is solid pub grub – reasonably priced and satisfying, with portions that leave you feeling content.
-
The decor inside is wonderful and comfy, giving the place a cosy, historical charm that's perfect for a relaxing evening.
-
There's a big outside seating area, which is great for enjoying a pint on a nice day.
-
If you're staying over, the rooms are basic but decent enough for a comfortable night's rest.
Cons
-
Wait times for food can be a bit of a drag, like waiting over an hour without any heads-up, which might put a dampener on your night.
-
There have been instances where communication falls short, such as not being told about shortages straight away, which could leave you hanging.
-
The rooms are pretty straightforward and nothing fancy, so if you're after something more luxurious, it might not hit the mark.

Great pub very friendly and the rooms although basic were decent enough
Just called the jube must say there telecommunications system they have installed is amazing, I called and reception answered, a lovely girl answered, I asked to be put through to the bar and was put through in a fraction of a second, I didn't even hear a beep. After my conversation with again another lovely girl in the bar, I asked to be put back through to reception and again like magic it was an immediate transfer with no beeps again. Amazing.
A credit to those 2 lovely friendly girls, you would swear they were related
It's pub grub. Reasonably priced and you feel satisfied for what you got.
Will definitely return. Staff are very friendly.
Food really nice when we received it after waiting ova an hour tho I had to go ova to the staff and ask where our food was as other customers came in after us and received there's before us apparently it was because there was no beef left but they should of made us aware the staff were really nice expecially the young lad on the bar and gave us a complimentary drink on the house due to the delay and then we received our food will definitely be going there again and highly recommend
